Remember folks, slot limits play a crutial role in growing lunker bass. But slot limits only work if people occassionally keep bass, otherwise it's just a plan on a piece of paper that never gets implemented. Im sorry glenn, i dont understand. But nobody really takes large number off bass, most peope do catch and release. what are you talking about slots glenn?

glad to have ya here. this forum is growing rapidly almost at exponential growth. haha You have a trout pond near ya? i went fishing for trout when i was a little kid on a trout farm and cought quite a few. had to pay by the pound and at the time we didnt know that and ran a bill up to almost 200 dollars :-[. lol i recently got into bass fishing heavily. but anyways welcome to the site ;D

ive been 70 on a boat before in mid summer and there was no need for a wind sheild.

lack of food? sounds unreal. too many critter walkin around the water durin the summer. and you gotta keep in mind that they do die off, either from age, being attacked, other animals eating them.

ive used red gomakatsu 2/0 worm hooks and havent cought anything off of them. ive cought alot of regular grey hooks.

i want a z21 ranger commanche. they are sooo bad. any one have one of those? ???

i like the stop and go method as well as the jerk method.

Ive read on this site that, bass you catch in pond ir anywhere make bass populations get shorter. Not dieing but not growing as big is what i mean to say. I know catching bass stress them out but, to a point to where the ystop growing and their offspring doesnt get big? thats rediculus. could some one clear this up for me? ???

wow i feel like a newb. the biggest bass i cought was about 3 pounds. i havent been fishing long tho. i got into fishing heavy about 2 months ago Ive cought plenty of one pounders but im waiting and ready for that big bass.

Since ive read you post ive looked for the book and looked. Its not at my local library or walmart. Im gonna try waldens books soon. Can you type some short excerpts?

When i had just got into bass fishing i went with my cousin on his pond. I was in a slump. I didnt catch anything all day. Or the next day.. Or that week. Or part of the next week. Anyway, that day my cousin was reeling in fish as fast as he could and as you know just getting into fishing and somthing like that happening tends to discourage you a little bit. But i kept at it and just the other day i was on his pond again with him and, I put him in a slump. I cought all the fish that day i think it was a total of 4 and he cought nothing. which is a surprise.

another nice catch if mine is my finger. i cought a 1 lb bass and he started flopping. It resulted in a treble hook in my finger and a treble hook staying the basses mouth. I had to cut him off. i couldent reach him good enouph to get it out so i cut it. Hookin my finger didnt hurt, it felt weird tho.

i never even thought about barometric pressure.

Before i knew alot about bass fishing i took my 4 wheeler out in the water and was fishing and i cought a bass. i was new at getting hooks out so i put him on my 4 wheeler rack and before i knew ithe was flopping and he hooked my middle finger. it didnt bleed at all but it was deep. i had to cut the treb with wire cutters and pull out the rest of the treb.

look at their camanche series also. they are BAD!

man tubing is awsome, i lost my glasses last year tubing to 30ft water. you wanna get a boat that can do atleast 60-70 for tubing. anything beow that is just lame. " hard to re board the boat with no ladder. " Build you a ladder. lol
