  1. I've lived in Texas, so.......FLORIDA! HA! Bloomin' onion, or sauteed mushrooms?
  2. What kind of forage are in this lake? Crawdads, shad, minnows, bluegills? Have you tried live bluegill. I fish alot of ponds by my house, and I've found that live bluegill work very well. Don't know exactly how legal this technique is, so I would suggest finding out before you go and do it. Have you tried anything smaller than finesse worms? Baby Bombers, tiny jerkbaits, Panther Martins, or have you considered flies? I've seen alot of big bass come up and eat mosquitoes and bees and such. Some things to keep in mind. Tight Lines!
  3. I totally agree with you guys. This Forum is AWESOME! So much info. And really great people. Thanks to everyone who has given me great advice, and to the people who have replied to my posts! You guys kick bass! Long Live BassResource.Com! Hoo-rah!
  4. Really! Coyote Reservoir! Used to fish there all the time. That was before they started opening at 8:00 am. They used to let you in way earlier than that. Any baitfish-looking fly will work great at Coyote. Fish the weedbeds early in the morning (if they let you in). Topwater flies will be an excellent bet, also. If not fly fishing, Flukes or Super Flukes work very well. Enjoy!
  5. what reservoir are you fishing? i live in cen-cal, five minutes away from don pedro and mcclure. i tie flies myself. i've tied quite a few bass flies. wooly buggers, poppers, etc. i fish them in the ponds around my house. pretty successful with them, too.
  6. What is this big buzz with senkos? All I know is that they're a soft plastic. Are they like the latest craze in bass fishing, or what? Someone give me the 411 on Senkos!!!!! I feel left in the dark here!
