We need more info on what type of baits you're using. IS THAT ROD YOU HAVE A MODERATE POWER-MED ACTION ? IF IT IS IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR CRANK BAITS. WE NEED MORE INFO.

Simple solution , teach your self to cast with your right hand. It won't be easy at first but the longer you do this the more natural it will become. How do I know this ? I'm left handed.

#1 yes #2 the smaller diameters of braided line will dig in on both bait-casters and spinning reels. #3 yes it has a smaller diameter. ( 10 lb braid dia = 2 lb mono dia.) #4 the smaller dia lines will. #5 braid has no memory. #6 no problem on quality rods. I use braid on my spinning gear 90% of the time and have no problems with it.

Well after many inquieries over the last three months , I finally got my question answered. I finally got a response from quantum and was surprised to find out that the drag setting is rated at 17 lbs. maxium . That's a lot of drag for this sized reel.

Does anyone know what the maxium drag setting in lbs. would be for this reel ? I bought three spinning reels recently . (Shimano Twin Power , Shimano Sustain , and a Quantum Energy PTi-A.) The drag on the twin power has an 8lb max. drag setting and the sustain has a 12 lb. max. drag setting , but I have no idea what the max drag setting for the e20pti-a would be. Thanks in advance for the info.
