NFC West
So get rid of the divisions and go with the top winning percentages for the play-offs. Problem solved. There is just one hang-up , the owners.

Spinnerbait Tackle
There is no such thing as med heavy action , there is med heavy power though. I agree with Uncle Leo , extra fast action/med heavy rod.

Which Steez?
Maybe somewhat true. Well sure, and in my exact words > But my whole point is, I know how marketing works. It's all based on a curve. You can get a really nice really for $79.95. You can get one that is 10% better, for 100% more $. Or, you can get one that is 2% nicer yet, for 500% more $. Is that 2% gain worth spending 5 X's as much ? Sure, if you have the means, and nothing else you'd rather spend it on. I just can't believe these reels would be high on the "value per $" list. On that note, I really have no desire to buy / use a Steez, or a Stella, even after having handled them in the stores. But what I really would like to try would be a Stradic CL4. $200 is still a lot for a reel, in my book. But that would be the kind of reel that I'd use for a couple years until I wore it sloppy, and then, I'd actually go through the trouble of sending it back in to be completely overhauled to perform like new. Peace, Fish OK I can comment on this one since I OWN ONE. The CI4 is a fantastic reel.

Lure company seconds???
You want cheaper baits? Just buy used , a lot of good deals on our flea market.

Bought a new reel... some observations...
It better not, or those gears will wear out quick. ******************* Keep in mind, those reels all have various mass to the rotor. I believe they also have different gear ratios. Both contribute to torque, or retrieve effort. Then you're saying the internal workings of a reel has nothing to do with how smooth/easy your handle turns ?

baitcating reel question
Thorough cleaning at least once a year on any reel. JMHO

Which Steez?
I'm with you on this one Chris. So many good reels in the sub $150 range that work great, even store brand reels from BPS and Cabela's. But if you have the money and it makes you feel better, go for it. After all a heavy wallet just hurts your back. I agree 100 % with your statement.

Would handle pressure have anything to do with how well the gears mesh together ?
