I fish with a Falcon Cara "Weightless Worm" rod. It's 6'7" MH XF and I absolutely love it. I've got a Curado 201DHSV on it and they work very well together. I'd love to have a Chronarch or a Core on it, but that'll be down the road.

If you haven't already gotten the pass, don't. I can't imagine the fishing is that good. I live in Kernersville, but used to live in Winston and there are a ton of good places to fish around here. Shoot me a PM if you want and maybe I can give you some ideas.

I just got a Falcon Bucoo 7' MH Casting rod last week. I couldn't be happier. I've got it paired with a Curado 201DHSV and it has been great so far. It's not as stiff as most MH rods are, but it's exactly what I wanted. Everyone that has held the rod has commented on how light it is...that's with the reel and line. I've caught around 10 bass with it so far and it has performed flawlessly. I like it so much I plan to get a Bucoo M casting rod for crankbaits and probably a spinning rod as well.

I agree with Willzx225. If you give a company your business enough, they will think of you when it comes time to test something new. My local bait & tackle make some amazing crankbaits and jigs. I am fortunate enough to have been the recipient of several of their hottest new creations. They all catch a ton of fish too!!

Very nice!! That's a hell of a fish for one's first smallmouth. He set the bar high early....and on an ultralight I'm sure he'll remember it for quite a while.

Sounds like fun, but I can't believe you only stayed for 30 minutes. I'll fish for more than that even if I wedge a hook in my hand on the first cast.
