Dont think about it too much, it has happened to many of us in the past. Just move on. And be confident that you will catch one bigger. Confidence can go far in fishing.

So whats difficult about backing a trailer?

I havnt gone fishing in a while. My gf and I broke up. She was my fishing partner every time I went out to the lake. For some reason I just cant get myself to get out there. Any inspiring words would be greatly apprecieted. Its as if I just dont care to fish any more.

Last time I checked ur lake doesn't apply to every lake in country. And im pretty sure that you didnt state anything about it being a residential area in your post. Sorry for the sarcasm

if i know the fish has no chance of living. I would probobly make a meal out of it. Letting em float around doesnt do anybody good.

I recently started a thread about Big Fish bait. and stated I couldnt afford a nice swimbait. But ive sucked it up to buy at least one. what are some that are 20 bucks or less that will produce big fish.

So me and my gf decided to fish for about a half hour just to kill some time since we were going out soon. So we left the house with 2 rods and just a bag of green trick worms. I didnt expect anything special cause its just a small local lake that i go to when im bored. But i must hae been wrong because on the second cast I caught this cow of a fish. Im 6'2, so that a big fish. As i said i was just killin time so i didnt think about bringing my scale with me. i know it stinks. but thanks for reading, and may the fishing gods be with all of you.

I have 2 of them and love them both. my favorte part is the durability. havnt cleaned or lubed them once and they cast a mile just like they did when there came out the box

its people like you more kids need these days. im so greatfull of having my grandfather teach me how to fish since i was such a little kid. its gonna mean alot to him in the future. i promise

thanks thats actually really good advice. i was thinking about that. cause she sees me get ticked and throw a hissy fit when iloose a decent lure so shes prob scared of me getting angry at her. ill keep that in mind i appreciete it. lol. idk about that. im jealous about u guys having boats and all these awsome outings i read about. it ends up beng even. haha I dont care if i catch anything. as long as i see that smile on her face when she catches a bass, im a happy fella.

Man shes the greaest guys. u have no idea. she loves to come fishing with me. she watches fishing shows with me all the time and doesnt complain at all. always asks me if she can tag along when i go to dicks to buy new lures. i love her. shes the best so we went fishing the other day and she usually uses plastic worms so i dont have to wrry about here using my expensive lures. plus there one of the easiest to fish and they usually always catch atleast one fish in my lake. but she was kinda tired of always using the worm and she was sometimes having trouble feeling the nibble on the worm. so i gave her a spinnerbait. here firt actual lure besides a platic. i figure she wouldnt have any trouble feeling the bite on it. on her second cast a fished just slammed it. here old 20 year old shimano rod was bent in half. it took her a wile to get it in. biggest fish she ever caught. close to 4 founds i'd say. 20 inches long
