  1. It's the one that meets your needs the best, with respect to size, number of pockets, pocket configuration and other characteristics.
  2. I have no idea of the price difference or, for that matter, what either of them costs. But it's obvious you prefer the Revo, so I'd get that if you can afford it. You can also take the price difference and divide it by the number of years of service you expect from the Revo. That's the annual cost of the premium you'd pay for the Revo and maybe that'll help you decide. I just think if you can afford the Revo and buy the BPS you'll be constantly second-guessing yourself.
  3. I've never used the Stik-O brand, but that's a heck of a bargain, almost 50% off the regular price of individual packages. Over the years people have reported success on virtually all Senko colors, so I don't see any reason that your full color selection shouldn't produce.
  4. I know this question was directed at the people who got hit the hardest. Here in Rochester, NY we had a significant snowfall, but very manageable, not even approaching what the east coast folks got. I just hope that everyone is OK and suffered minimal, preferably none, damage. But our snowfall created a winter wonderland for three days and it was a near-perfect weekend for winter sports.
  5. I've used them, both trebles and offset worm hooks. Never had a problem.
  6. Don't know anything about insurance and storm names, but this Nemo is just something The Weather Channel called it and it has no official standing.
  7. Here's one from Winston Churchill: "All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes." And a couple of anonymous: "Learning from your own mistakes is smart, learning from others mistakes is wise. Not learning from either is foolish..." "Live and learn from others mistakes, you cant possibly live long enough to make them all yourself..."
  8. My preference has been the 5", although I couldn't see any different results with the 4". One thing I did with the 5" was when the nose tore I cut off 1/4" and rerigged. This can be done four times and you're still left with a 4".
  9. It's not just line, but I've cut back on lures and colors as well. In my particular circumstances more options means that I have to make more decisions that I'm not qualified to make.
  10. I know nothing about the Dodge and Cox fund family, but it wouldn't hurt to compare their fund performance and management fees to those of other fund families. Fees compounded over the years can add up to big $$$. As to the advisor: consider this silly hypothetical situation: suppose you had $100,000 and for 30 years it never made or lost a penny. Each year you're paying the advisor $900 so over the course of 30 years you'd have paid $27,000. You'd have to examine if it's worth it, i.e., what value did you get for that payout? I see three options offhand: 1) Stick with the advisor 2) Drop him and be your own financial advisor if you have confidence in your financial literacy 3) Drop him and see a fee-only advisor once or twice a year to review your portfolio for proper asset allocation and other matters
  11. I use Gamakatsu, but that's what my dealer carries. I wouldn't hesitate to use other brands.
  12. They don't exist. In virtually every equipment category there are numerous brands and styles which perform very well. You're just going to have to try things and settle on those that work well for you.
  13. You might check out the section of beginner articles here, although I don't know how much info will apply to river hybrids. http://www.bassresource.com/how-to-fish/
  14. My canoe is an ultralight. I made the $200 investment in a roof rack to make the loading and unloading as quick and easy as possible. I only use the canoe solo, although it is a tandem. So I turn it around and paddle from the bow seat, which gets me closer to the center, but it's not nearly enough to keep the boat level. I carry a conventional 5-gallon pail and lid and 20-30 pounds of water in it and putting it up front is enough to keep it level enough for my purposes. I agree with the others that IF you now have doubts about your purchase, cut your losses and get something you feel totally comfortable with.

Clayton, just like fishing equipment can't make you a good fisherman, photo equipment can't make you (or anyone else) a good photographer. Almost any camera can take excellent pictures in the hands of a good photographer. You need to decide what kinds of pictures you want to take. If it's wildlife, you'll need a long lens. If mostly scenery, a long lens isn't a requirement. There's a load of information on the Internet. You can do a search on such things as how to buy a camera or camera reviews or other things that you think will provide the information you want. You can try your library for a Consumer Reports that has the article you want. You could try a rental at a rent-a-center. I personally like to shoot wildlife and use one of the so-called superzooms. But this subject is pretty open-ended and I don't know what else to say, other than arming yourself with information will be a big help.
  16. Agree, no accusations against specific names. That said, as far as I know, there have been documented cases of various shenanigans by TV hosts.
  17. You probably can't go wrong with the same stuff recommended for monitors, tablets, TVs, etc, which is microfiber cloths and a screen cleaning liquid. Other stuff works but if they contain certain chemicals, that could be harmful. If you do a search on "how clean monitor" (without the quotes) you'll find a lot of information and methods and some cautions as well.
  18. Clayton, best wishes for a quick recovery and a long stretch of good health. Hey, don't knock Shimano; they make the best derailleurs on the market.
  19. Ever since they were introduced 30 years ago, Shad Raps have been my favorite crankbaits with the highest degree of confidence. That's subjective and not based on any testing by me. Also for reasons unknown, for lipless I use Rattling Rapalas. Maybe I just have Rapala blood in me.
  20. That may be true, it certainly can't hurt, but even if you know someone, still get that degree if you're able to.
  21. I don't use that brand of trebles, but sizes 4 and 6 are on the vast majority of hard baits that I use, including topwaters.
  22. I make long casts because that's who I am, a person who often likes to cover a lot of water. Distant hooksets have not been a problem while using braid.
  23. I've learned not to be optimistic, especially after this past season when loads of "experts" had them in the playoffs. I'm not from Missouri, but "Show me!!" I'll believe it when I see it. But I'm not negative about the Marrone hire, but I'm not optimistic either, as stated earlier. Of all games, that one was blacked out within the 75-mile radius.

Just do a search on this term and you'll have more material than you can use. windows 8 tutorial
  25. Never happened to me. I can see it possibly happening if stored under extreme heat, but it doesn't sound likely under normal storage conditions.
