I e-mailed the guy 2 days ago asking why so little and could he send me the Pics. haven't heard a peep. Just for the record, I actually had no intention of buying the boat. I saw the add and thought "thats too good to be true" and figured I'd look into it.

Yea, What he said! Probably too many! I bought a fish scale last year and weighed my tackle box and and got a big shock, and then I went and bought more stuff to put in it.

Braid is the way to go. I've been experimenting with different brands the last 2 years, and i'm still in my evaluation stage. I've got Power Pro, Suffix, fireline crystal and spiderwire. If you like mono try the suffix elite and siege. I switched to them a few years ago and they are outstanding, and i was a diehard Trilene guy.

If you fish in heavy cover or around a lot of trees, I've had good luck with 5" senko's on a Mustad W37754R Ultra Point Weedless Wacky Worm Hook.

don't know, tried to buy two this spring and they are out of production, from what i hear, until 2010. Some of the EBAY vultures are advertising that they will no longer be made and guys are paying as high as $20 + for them. Let the buyer beware

As a police officer I appreciate the sentiments of all of you. I try to treat everyone decent , at least until they make me not treat them decent by their actions. Just today my partner and I were on boat patrol and, after issuing a summons for fishing without a license the guy said "thank you" . You would be surprised how often that happens. By the way, the fish were biting real well, I was jealous.

Now there's a real class act, Has no problem giving up his fishing spot. Nice fish!

Hey guys, has anyone ever used the E2 needleworm for shakyhead fishing?

I've always heard that when the water rises, fish will follow food up into the areas they usually can't get to. Several years ago, I think it was Denny Brauer(Not Sure) that did well in a tournament on lake champlain when the water was high by fishing in grass and reeds so thick it looked like his boat was parked in a hay field.

I am a NY Game Warden, so I can really appreciate this post. I think you will find that a lot of police officers are this way, its just that a lot of times people adopt a bad attitude right from the get-go and the interaction goes downhill from there. I've had a lot of great conversations about fishing while doing my job, and I've learned a lot. I had a real good conversation with a guy the other day when I noticed he was using a Carrot Stix rod. I think he was surprised I knew what it was.

what i throw and what I want to throw are two different things. If I could catch fish on it all the time it would be some kind of topwater frog. i usually fall back on a wacky rigged senko when I want to catch fish, although i have been fishing with a tournament fisherman friend of mine who is getting me to expand my horizons a bit.
