hey guys, im new to fishing in general, and have reallyu only fished Motts and Abel. Have nothing to show for it yet, but i'm down for being a fishing partner, i could learn a lot. dont have a boat.

I wanted to start a thread for casual fisher(wo)men, everyday anglers, and just all around bass entusiast in the Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. I live in Stafford, and am boatless, and tend to fish mainly (primarily) in the revervoirs in Stafford and F'burg. I am new to fishing and have not caught a single bass, and would like to meet up with some people to find out whats going on, basically as a learnign tool. Lets hope this thread thrives, and fishing networks are made!

I'm new to fishing and haven't been to too many places. Are there any good shore spots in aquia or pohick, as I do not have a boat.. Also, what's a good bait to use from the shore in any body of water for bass?

I live in STafford, and am very new to fishing. Have been to motts run and abel lake only, wih only small success on abel. a total of 6 sunfish, the largest as big as my hand. I am using a bobber and live worm approach. i have caught them all > 15 feet from shore (no boat), and just let the worm sit until i get a bite. Can someone give me some pointers as to how to catch bigger fish from shore? really put it into laymens terms, as DO NOT know much about fishing. thanks!
