I'm gonna unload a bunch of quick questions... 1. How long do you throw a bait before you realize its not working and tie another on? 2. I bought some Stomr swimbaits, will they work on smallmouth? They are pretty small. 3. Would a tandem technique work in a river while wading to work at two different depths?

I'm gonna go catfishin', well, leaving now actually. I'm gonna use chicken liver and pork that's been sitting in garlic for a couple weeks in the freezer. Thawed it over night and smells like death. I should have a par performance. Will post anything special.

Are they used primarily with jigs? How much line is beteen them? Does anyone have an illustration of this method? I'm intrigued.

I see it on the forum all the time, I even see it increses hook ups... But I have NO idea what it is. HELP

I've had a TON of bites on a GYCB 4" double tail grub. I don't think I had a great hook selection. Had it t-rigged on a shakey head hook, and couldn't set the hooks that well. Ton of bites though, and a ton of chewed up grubs..

Alarm is off at 445, take the dog out, put the dog in the car. Get to lake/river and tie her up, lure in at 6. I usually fish mondays and fridays.. Today I saw the sun rise, and went out again tonight and saw it set.. Oh yea, got my first bass, too!!!

Dink, A little exaggeration on my part. Its not that bad. I have control, most of the time.

I wish I was in that club. All my fishing is done from in shore, and before the rest of the family wakes up. Oh, and when I get "fishing money" its more like I havr to drag her into Dicks or gander. And she says, "okay. You have as long as you last in bed, and $12." Lol. $12 goes by quick in 3 minutes. Lucky, lucky guy!!!

Go down to florida, catch an aligator gar- practice hold those by the jaw, then the bass won't seem so hard.

Nice heavy debate. My take on it; keep in mind my bass count is still a goose egg!! I personally would not keep a fish unless the fishery was over populated, and they were looking for people to keep. If it were in the limits, I would keep it to help the fishery, and probably come up with a nice recipe. Outside of that, I wouldn't keep a fish, especially one of that size, but I'm also not going to get mad that someone else did. We're in an economical nightmare, unemployment is at its lowest in 25 years, he could have lost hois job and is looking to cut costs, at all costs. I, nor you, are at any liberty to judge, especially if its keeping his family from going hungry.

I just fell in love with wading, and wanted to try topwater action. Is 6 am too late to start, and is a rage shad a good choice? Black with red flake?

Prior to this week, my daughter had school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and i took her, which would allow me only to fish Monday and Friday mornings before work. Last night, my wife and i decided to pull her out for the summer because we have a lot going on, and it was more of a "camp" style anyways, she's 3 almost 4, and cant just do whatever mom does during the day anyways. long story short, i can now go fishing 5 days a week!!! It's worth waking up at 4:45!! WA-HOO!!!!

He's a dumb, made up character whom people blame their spending habits on. I'm probably one of the few people on BR that thinks that he is a stupid fictional character. Just my .02c youre not the only one.

X2 Katie Couric (sp?) asked Lil Wayne in an interview "you smoke weed, and you have children. what do you say to all the kids that look up to you as a role model" His response, "Katie, i have two kids, i only need to be a role model to two kids..." Not only is that untrue, but a complete jackass thing to say.. For some reason or another we are in a time where its easier to look up to an athelete or an actor than it is your own mother, father, grandfather etc. I grew up admiring my grandfather for the way he presented himself with a life altering diesease my grandmother had. i grew up admiring my father for being a great play buddy and never missing one of my sports games. I will never miss one of my kids games, and i will never leave the side of wife because of these guys that were in my life, i never looked outside of my family for a role model, hero, i had it all inside of my house. Great topic.
