I also like the booya spinners, though I prefer the double willow primarily in 3/8 or 1/2. For color selection I primarily use white, chartruse and black. Then I have a few bleeding white and bleeding fire tiger. The double willow blades help simulate fish that are schooling while the colorado blade is more of a bait fish type presentation (from what I understand anyway, correct me if I'm wrong).

I use drop shot when I shore fish at the locks, anywhere with deep water works well.

What brand of cranks are you primarily using?

landed on a lucky sale, yamamoto's were 2 packs for $8 so I bought 2 dozen packs of my fav colors. Once in awhile you'll get a lucky sale and just gotta stock up.

Never used a jitterbug myself but plan on trying one out, anyone recommend a brand?

Yeah I'm taking a look at that, I'd prefer the 1 peice but for the price I suppose beggers can't be choosers.

12 hour drive from SC Wisconsin... I will plan on attending if I can find someone to room up with, as I don't have a boat I'd have to be a rider as well. Definately, my father has TONS of gear. He did testing for BPS in the early 80's, he has some stuff that works very well but is either no longer in production or never came into production in the first place.

Yeah I do, maybe I will just take it back and try another spool of 30# before upping the test. I just started using braid so wasn't sure if I needed to go heavier or if this was something off.

I'm positive its not the knot, I'm usually use an improved clinch or a double palomer. Not sure what the issue is but it is deffinately snapping. Maybe I just got a bad spool?

I've been fishing some very thick reed / hydrilla / lilly mixture... I've been using 30lb spider braid, and I keep breaking off, should I be going heavier? 60-75lb? My revo sx is my main casting reel, would that be able to handle 60-75lb braid?

Take them off the USB and put them on your actual computer then try. The USB may be causing the problem.

I'd say try wearing a weight lifting belt, it will support your lower back and sides and keep your back aligned properly, should help.
