  1. Truly I dont need to spend much more than $50 for a rod.
  2. Endless you had better watch out for that monkey! He's right behind you!
  3. I was checking out the sale on BPS and came across this rod http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44306____10009021?ordProd=Y&CMID=TOP_selectitems#itemDetail Is this a good rod for someone like myself on a budget? I cant spend a great deal on a rod but the reviews say its a decent rod. Any thoughts or comments on this rod? Also what reel would go good with it?
  4. Does anyone use this hook? If so what are your opinions on it? I have a few in the box but I am thinking about going strictly to Gamatatsu.

  12. Alright did a search with no luck so I am going out on a whim here. I am sure this has been posted a thousand times but here I go. I am going to Bass Pro this weekend and need to get some lures to get my collection going. I have no cranks , no jigs, only one spinner bait, and a few plastic worms. Can you guys please help me with a list of what I should by to get going a bit better?? Maybe colors, weights, and descriptions would be of great help. Anyway I will greatly appreciate any and all input. I just don't want to get in there and get all overwhelmed at the choices of all the lures they have.
  13. Jim Man when you say for example on the Spinnerbaits 15#line is the 15 the lbs test of the line that I should choose??
  14. Thanks guys I believe I now have the info that I have needed!
  15. Thanks guitarkid but I need a little bit more help as in rods, lines, & reels to use when fishing these certain lures. I may not be explaining my self to well if not let me know and I will try to explain somewhat better.

  17. If there is a link to answer my question please someone let me know. I am trying to get my rod (action and length), reel, and line setups correct. I am trying to figure out the correct setup I need for each of these lures to fish: 1) Texas and Carolina Rig 2) Spinnerbaits 3) Jigs 4) Cranks 4) Topwater Now I am sure that some of these you can fish with the same equipment but I just need some help figuring this all out. Thanks for the help.
