I love a strike on soft plastics, the "tick" tick", then your adrenilane starts pumping through your blood, and your brain is waiting for the electric impusle for when the line shoots out, and bammm!!! you set the hook!!! I recently started topwater and I got to say its exciting! Any strike, with a good hook set, just can't beat it!!!

I was reading through an article and it was about smallmouth bass fishing in the raritan river. I couldnt believe it! I would love to go check it, out anybody ever try it? They said the south branch is good. And near rutgers near the van wankle house Tips???

I had my baitcaster setup since last season but hardly used it, so this season I kept practicing and got pretty good!!!
