Hey warwick. Try using some inline spinners like panther martin's or joes flies. You can also use worms if you put some weight on them to keep them down. I like the cone weights you slide on the line before your hook, they bounce a little and seem to help attract the fish. I just got back a little bit ago from fishing smallies in the creek and had really good luck with the spinners. You can also pick up trout with them as well if there are any left in there.

That is some beautiful country down there. I used to so some climbing and rafting at the gorge years ago. Good luck on your trip!

Hello Everyone. I wanted to stop in an introduce myself. I was invited along for a weekend fishing trip at the beginning of April and the rest is history. I can't stop! I am lucky enough to have some really nice spots close by and I fish almost every day. Here is a pic of a recent trip. Smallmouth were hitting like crazy and we caught a few rainbow's as wel.
