Before plopping down your hard earned money for retail Costas's check out the site steepandcheap.com. I just got a pair of $179 retail Costa's for $70 shipped from them. You have to check often but you can get some great deals.

If the form simply asked how many people and what ages were living in the house I would have no problems it but that is not the case.

I have a 1000 and 2500 and love them both. I also have a few of the regular Stradics and personally can't tell much difference. I'm not convinced they are worth the extra money.

I don't have any experience with the Calcutta but I did pick up a 301A Cardiff a few weeks back. I use it for saltwater and it is an incredible reel for the money. I can only imagine how nice the Calcutta's are.

I would say that rod is worthless and you should sell it to me for a killer deal.

Here's my pup. She is a hound mix that we adopted about 4 years ago. She is my girl. My wife and I always joke that the custody battle will be over the dog since we don't have any kids.

New song sounds pretty good. I will probably buy it. I haven't bought any new music in a loooong time. I like the entire Alice in Chains catalog but Jar of Flies has to be my favorite. Can't ever get enough of Rage Against the Machine and old Chili Peppers.

If it were me and I enjoyed my job I would do it. I am an adrenaline junky anyway and would rather die doing something I love than Alzheimer's or cancer. I don't think I could do it if I had kids though.

I have a friend who pretty much fly fishes exclusively for everything and he is very good. He has a spinning rod in the car but I have yet to see him use it. I always enjoy watching someone who really knows how to use a flyrod, it is like poetry in motion.

I have never had the pleasure of catching redfish but I hear it's great fun and that they are very tasty.
