  1. if you're gonna use a bit heavier jig, i would get a bit stronger rod to set a bigger hook. look for jigs with flippin hooks on em. a black chrome 5/0 gammy flippin hook will not let you down

  5. This year has been just absolutely windy as hell and my top producing lure has been a spinnerbait with the skirt taken off and replaced with a zoom tab-tail. if the wind weren't so ridiculous i guarantee my top lure would have been a lizard or something

  7. i have watched a bass gobble up a brush hog lathered with megastrike only to spit it out all in the same motion. it was strange. i always have a tube but for lube purposes only.

  11. If the water is calm, the moon is full, and the mosquitoes are at bay, i do really well dragging 8" Zoom lizards across the surface in and around pads and weeds.
  12. there's a guy that fishes and wins just about every tournament here because if he can't catch anything anywhere else, he goes and fishes cypress trees he has tied cinder blocks to either end and placed in the water.

  16. haven't fished these but bass are opportunistic feeders, if you present them in an area where bass are present, then you shouldn't have any problems.
