If you look at the one from bass pro you better read the comments. People are talking about them only lasting one year and they are correct ,I had the same problem.

Haven't picked it up yet but am definitely going to get one. I'm putting together an order of fly tying materials from cabela's and gonna add the battery to that.

I just saw your post about the rudder slipping off at high speed and was wondering if you have the same problem with the motor. I'm having a hell of a time keeping my 55lb motor from slipping off when going at top speed. If you are having this problem what have you tried to stop it? I run the motor on the front. Do you think it would help to put it on the back?

The trailer I got is item #42708 at harbor frieght. Since it is only 49" long I mounted a piece of plywood covered with outdoor carpet to it. Here in Maryland the registration cost me $51 for two years and the inspection was only $30.

I got a sale paper from harbor freight friday and the trailer I bought was priced at $199, believe me thats a great price for this trailer. Check it out.

Hey jbird9009, how many batteries do you use on your raider and how much time on the water do you get out of them. I have two batteries on mine and only get around 3.5 hours total out of the two, running a 55lb trolling motor and a fishfinder.Does that sound about right or do you think I might need new batteries?

If I were you I would check-out harbor freight .com.I ordered my trailer from them for 179.00. It was delivered to my door in three boxes by ups and took me about 1 hour to assemble. This is my second year using it and it works great.

How about Bass Glass ( the dropshot with class ).

If I were you, I would check my local sports authority. I was able to get a 10' bass raider for 300.00 by talking to the manager. They had two that were being sent back to corporate because they couldn't sell them,so they let me have it for 300 when it was priced at 499.00. It never hurts to ask. Added 100.00 battery and 150.00 trolling motor and 100.00 fishfinder and I was on my way for 650.00. Good luck!

Hey Basser89 I see you and Brian went to Dickerson the other day. How was the walk down to the water ,was it icy or muddy? I'm asking because I'm dying to go there for the first time and I have a back problem so I can't do anything too treacherous. Also is it true that the only way to get to water is to walk down the canal path?.Isn't their a path to the left of the parking lot that will get you to water?

Went to local dick's in Gaithersburg,Maryland over the weekend and got a 55lb. minn kota endura transom mount for 110.00 marked down from 250.00.Can't beat that deal with a stick and can't wait to use it.
