  1. I use Motor Oil Trick Worms with Chartreuse tail in stained water during the colder months..........................DEADLY!!
  2. Summer is over............................in FL!?! Rattle traps are the ticket for me right now!
  3. I did my own for about 2 years with different scents. My conclusion was that it makes no difference in the amount of strikes i got. However, it did make a huge impact on how long a fish holds a lure before it spits it out. Like stated above, mostly in slow moving lures. I only use them in the winter now and only on T-Rigs/Jigs when it is harder for me to feel the subtle bites. Buys me a few more seconds to react! BTW, I LOVE Power Bait too......................................
  4. I too bought some just from the hype! I quickly sold them all after fishing them a couple times. They lack greatly in the sensitivity department. And like mentioned above, the grips are a joke!
  5. I have a trip scheduled there next month, CAN'T WAIT!!! Great fish too!
  6. If all this is true about bass adapting to certain lures than how can the " Old Faithfuls" be explained.? For example the T-rigged plastic worm and the Rattle trap. They catch fish just about everywhere and anytime for me. Have been for MANY years now. In lakes i always fish and new ones. Big fish as well as small ones.
  7. Some are better than others IMO! The Orlando one has always been my favorite! Closely following in 2nd is the Ft. Myers one.
  8. Couldn't have said it better myself! I found that noise and retrieve speed are far more important!
  9. My #1 favorite is the loud splash of a hawg bass slamming my Rage Toad! Closely following in second is that mushy feeling in my rod as a fish just barely picks up my T-Rig!
  10. Seems like in my areas you can't buy a bite before sunrise! Once the sun peaks out over the trees the top water bite turns on RED HOT!!!
  11. Just weighed my plastic inventory in at 42lbs..........................
  12. That is a BEAUTIFUL fish J Francho! I have to try some of that CXX too.
  13. I like the BPS XPS in smaller sizes. The bigger sizes are very stiff and harder to cast!
  14. Not bad.........................not bad at all, LOL!!!!
  15. Shimano Crucial 6' 6" MH/F paired with a Revo S spooled with 15lb mono.
  16. What's punting? is it some variation of a pitch? i've never heard of that before. Thanks As for the Chigger Craw I use them for pitching. Those and the Paca craws are my 2 favorite craw type baits Think he meant punching man..............................
  17. Don't know about exact wind speeds but we have been out when waves come over and in my bass boat! SCARY STUFF MAN!!!
  18. I use 6:4:1 ratio for most my shallow spinners. If i am slow rolling a big Colorado blade deep i use a low speed crankin reel.
  19. In clear water i have much more success on worms than lizards!
  20. How exactly are they "better"? I have used them all and don't find the Dobyns to be worth the extra $................................just my thoughts though!
  21. My girlfriend once accidentally tossed one of my set ups overboard in about 29ft of water! It was a Shimano Crucial and a Revo SX with fresh fluoro and a brand new Rapala deep diver! None of it was ever used!!!!
  22. 4" Senko in your favorite color weightless!
  23. Same quality from Powell but for a WHOLE LOT LESS!!!!!
