Thanks for the feedback guys! Al, you hit the nail on the head. If I could swing an IMX or a GLX, it would be a no-brainer. I had heard the GL2 was not that sensitive. I went a head and picked up a Crucial this afternoon. After playing with both of them, the crucial just felt like a better rod. Can't beat the warranty on the Shimano either.

Alright guys, I need a new rod and I have narrowed it down to one of these. Which do you think is the better rod. Price-wise they are about the same. I like the over-the-counter warranty of the Shimano. Rod will be used as an all-around all purpose rod. Wormin', spinerbaits, top water, etc.

I would be really happy with a 22 pound 5 ouncer My personal best so far is 7 pounds even. My dad's best bass is 7 pounds 4 ounces. It has always been my goal to beat him, and I am getting close
