I am headed up to the New England Fishing and Outdoor Expo next week at the DCU Center in Worcester Ma. feb 8-10. There will be some top notch pros there doing seminars and working the tank. Looking forward to meeting Davy Hite, Pete Gluszek, The "Hunting Chick" from Florida, and a few others. I will present daily seminars on my experiences bass fishing in the everglades. Hope to see to some BR guys there.

The launch I use is Antonio Maceo. It is $8 to launch and there is an attendant who watches over things. I was there the other day for peacock bass. We tore em up. The lake and canal system is eat up with peacock bass but I would not go there just target bass.

That was a heck of a trip. Dwight is always holding a fatty.

I always refer to Google Earth for potential fishing areas and especially places that I can launch.

We eat em! They are fantastic. Robert it was Charlies first peacock bass.

The week started off with hockey Hall of Famer, #4 Bobby Orr and NBC Sports Charlie Moore in the Everglades. They killed it with 40 bass in 4 hours. Yesterday Charlie and I met up with Adam Rizzi from The Reel Deal Adventures for an hour of intense peacock bass fishing. We had a double within five minutes of filming and ended up with 7 peacock bass and a nice largemouth. Today I had Mike from Ga. down for some snakeheads. We boated 9 snakeheads and 5 largemouth on spinnerbaits and my handpoured frogs.

Not only is it felony to transport a live snakehead, but it could have devastateing affects on the fisheries in that area. Being from the country I know that birds, cattle, deer and other animals can and will move fish species to neighboring water holes, lakes, rivers and ponds.

Billy Bob Crosno peacefully passed on last night. He was the greatest and longest working professional bass fishing guide in South Florida. He was a Bass Pro Shops staff member, giving seminars at store openings around the country. He had won numerous tournaments back in the day and hosted his own fishing show at one time. He did not advertise but stayed booked year around. He helped established many of the homemade boat ramps we use to this day. He was quick with a story and had a fantastic personality. He was a mentor to many of the South Florida guides and he was my friend. I will be forever gratefull for his kindness towards me. He will be greatly missed.

A BR get together wouldd be great!

Pretty much what Sam said. I have never been to a expo. Ironically I will be one of the featured seminar speakers at the New England Hunting and Fishing Expo in February. Looking forward to meeting the vendors and visiting with many of my friends and clients in the NE/NH area.
