  1. Way to get it done Steve!!! I hate fishing in the cold. I look forward to seeing the show.
  2. Good looking fish. Congratulations.
  3. Dan Kenney and I hit up a local canal for the snakehead. This was more of a snakehead video but Dan seemed to keep getting bass. We did pretty well and had alot of fun. This show aired up in the NE part of the country and Dan was kind enough to put it up on his You Tube channel so I could share it.
  4. Welcome aboard. You got any good fishing up north?
  5. His shop is located in Pompano just off U.S.1. He is also mobile and like I said before.....extremely fair. He dropped everything and met me on the water once when I was broke down within an hour.
  6. Not too sure about that bill. I know the shops have alot of overhead. I would not expect to pay more than $100 per hour. But if any of you need service work in South Florida, I highly recommend Don's Moblile Marine. He has a shop in Pompano as well. He is totally fair and sells parts at cost. I have had him rebuild a 50 hp Merc for $600 plus parts. He also changed out my power pack for less than $200 plus parts. His number is 954-245-8419.
  7. This was on the down current side of a road culvert, so they were hanging out for a meal.
  8. I observed some nice schools of bass in the canals along Tamiami Tr. in the Everglades. I wanted to observe them naturally so I put a couple of cameras in the canal and walked away for a half hour. I had seen bass in the tanks at bass pro shops and observed them in the weiva river but catching them schooled around the camera was pretty cool. In this video I saw the Florida Spotted Gar, Talapia, Bluegill, Myan Cyclid, Oscar, Black Bass and a alligator. I believe I spotted a pair of mangrove snapper, which does not surprise me since this is only a few miles from the gulf.
  9. That is pretty darn good!
  10. Awesome footage Mike. The water looked pretty clear.
  11. Hey there George. I see we fish alot of the same water. Man don't you love South Florida
  12. Yes it was 7 mile ditch. I ran it last sunday and it was fine. However the monkey box is extremely weedy right now. Need some more boats in there to cut it up and blaze some trails.
  13. Been there and done that )
  14. If I am on a confident pattern bite like a frog bite, I do it all the time. I have also wished I had my tackle box on more than one occasion.
  15. Bet she did have an attitude when you set up on her
  16. Whatever Lee said is pretty solid. Another Bass Resource member who fishes the harris chain is rad07h.
  17. That is a great way to spend lunch! Good fish.
  18. Chris, that was 5K hull plus all the other goodies. You can see more of them at Gheenoe.net and CustomGheenoe.com. They have some that are less money.
  19. Last january my buddy Dan Kenney came down from New hampshire to film a Lake Okeechobee segment for his show. We fished the monkey box and another area close by for a couple of real nice bass. I was using a buzz frog and Dan was using a Yum swin bait. It was a bluebird sky and a tough bite but we did manage a 8# and a 7 3/4# plus some dinks. Not sure where this show was broadcast but he was kind enough to put it on his You Tube channel which enabled me to share it.
  20. I have a 21 foot Stratos with the MG Brute 67. Works fantastic and I rarely run it at more than 40%.
  21. Robert it sure looks pretty. Is it where I think it is?
