Rob I have our video edited but will wait till after Christmas to put it up. I was out there this morning in 40 temp and killed it...actually the customers did. You and I got caught by the frontal edge.

I got on fish less than 2 weeks ago on the flats out front of the 20 mile bend. I was finding them in the clean holes next to the grass islands. All were caught on swimbaits.

The only area closed at this time is the "Little L" off of Tamiami Tr. Have you seen the bridge under construction on the Trail? It will span from about 1 mile west of the Miccosukee Casino west to the Miccosukee Indian Reservation. The existing road bed will be removed and allow the water to flow naturally.

Merry Christmas to all of you at Bass Resource, The Army Corp of Engineers and the South Florida Water Management have decide to do a water study in one of my favorite fishing areas in the everglades. The "test project" is part of the Florida Everglades Restoration Project which will eventually remove many of the levees in the everglades and restore the natural water flow in the everglades. Since I first learned of the "area closures" that will affect me, I have spent many days on the water looking and exploring for alternate fishing areas in the everglades. Now with the water droping the bite is picking back up. I recently donated a bass trip to my church and wouldn't you know that the guy that won was a Australian who loves fishing. The trip started slow with heavy fog and twenty or so tiny bass in a area that I had never fished. I had my fill of that and moved to another canal a few miles away. It was game on all day. Most of the fish were chunky two to two and a half pounders, but it was constant. My guest was wrecking them on the Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm and I was doing my damage on a BooYah 3/8 spinner bait. We were out all day and never saw another person...priceless!

Love the home brew rat bait. I have wanted to toss the weedless hud up on Lake Okeechobee.

Robert (South FLA) really had the hookup on this trip with his boats and contacts in the Palm Beach area. It was an excellent shoot.

Bass2bucks on here knows more about that lake than I do, but he was doing well where the river and lake meet.

You bumped into a champion angler. Corey has single handedly killed more snakeheads than any other angler in south Florida and he is the current I.G.F.A Bullseye SnakeHead record holder at 12 plus pounds. He has been posting some really good pictures of some nice bass lately, but the one you have there is bigger. Great job!

Lee, I had clients up there a couple of weeks ago. They rented a condo at Rolands. It was as nice as any home. There was a 3 day minimum and a rate of around $185/day. Sorta high but plush...with boat parking/electric.

Plastic fumes are TOXIC.

My last 3 post "Sandy" trips to the Lake were pretty sorry. But the good news is that the glades are on fire! My last two trips in the glades were both 30+ up to 5 1/2 #'s.

I used to have a MK with a weededge prop. It did the trick in the heavy stuff. My current boat has the MG and I was having real issues with the Lake O vegetation getting wrapped up in my prop. Talked to South FLA and he suggested the "Safari" prop. What a difference it made. I would not say it is as good as the MK weededge but definately better than the MG Machette and the two blade Power Prop.

I cannot remember the name of it. But it was incredible.

Mikeyballs is on here. I fished with him a little over a month ago on the lake. Watched him punch up a 6+ and a 7+...smooth as silk. Great guy and all around fisherman. His You Tube fishing channel, "MikeyBallzFishing" is sick! I have picked up some great tips from watching his vids.

I use alot of Cumaras. They have a great warranty.
