  1. Yeah, I know...been trying to actually work at work..ironic ain't it? Appreciate you taking the time to peek at it roadwarrior
  2. Hey everyone, I've finally got a start of resume for sponsorship put together. I guess I'm just looking for some input. I know there are a lot of people on here who are on one side or the other, and I would appreciate comments from either side. I tried to model it somewhat after Marcia Rubens resume. i liked her style, while still getting her point out. http://gym-mats-athletic.com/fishing%20resume.pdf Thanks, Chevy
  3. Sea nymph eh? So does that mean it's horny for the water or the fish? lol P.S. nice boat - and good deal! Enjoy it
  4. Just thought I would update y'all on our new purchase we made last year. You can't compete with the boys unless you're equipment is just as good. So we bought a bass boat last year. It's a 20' Nitro with a 200 HP Johnson. Unfortunately it's carburated (6 carb's on the beast) so it'll cost you your first born to run it...enh well. Here she is - we still have some work to do, but it's coming along.
  5. You don't need electronics to ice fish. It's usually a drill & error type sport. Or try to get a topographical map of the lake and drill around drop offs or near river mouths. If you were to use electronics, I'd recommend Vexilar. They are pretty useful for ice fishing. The drop cams are pretty neat too.
  6. I sure do. I fish up on Mississippi lake in Eastern Ontario. Here are some pics from last year. I should have a few shacks on the ice within the next week or two. As I catch 'em I'll post 'em.
  7. I'd have to say my favorite fishing partner is my dad. He got me into fishing when I was about 5 or 6. And I still love just spending the day on the water with him. After that I like trying to introduce people to loving fishing. My last boyfriend, I got him right hooked. The current boyfriend, doing the same thing. Then there are my friends who I always have a good time going out fishing with. There's also my mom, who I'm getting used to spending 8 hrs in a boat with during bass tournaments. She'll be my toourney partner next year.

    Bass-Turds
  9. For now, I'm mostly recreational. Fished my first two tournaments last year. I'm looking for sponsorship to do a tournament trail with a classic tourney at the end to strive for. I plan on doing both.

    B-*** Kissers or B-*** Kickers
  11. Let's clear up the crazy canadian talk i be spitting out, eh? [glb]Pickerel[/glb] is [glb]Walleye[/glb] to you. [glb]Pike[/glb] is [glb]Chain Pickerel[/glb] to you. The world record for walleye(which i call pickerel) is over 22 lbs. '>http://www.agfc.com/fishing/fishrecords_details.html
  12. Personally, I did not make any money. The two tournaments I fished, the best I did was 10th. First two tournaments ever, so not bad. But My mom owns a store called Bait Casters and we put on a Pike/Pickerel Tournament, Family Fun tournament, Bassin 4 Bucks tourney and an Ice fishing Derby every year. We have a 50 boat max for the bass tourney, usually get 125 people for ice derby, family fun is small and pike/pickerel probably get 40 boats. So we're making money on tackle, and tournaments, launch fees. Actually were a BassPro Shops dealer, and we might be getting sponsorship from them, if we get our ***** together. To be Seen. Going out to the Bay of QUinte on Sunday, hopefully to catch some 10lb + Pickerel. I'll post a pic if I get a big one.
  13. Pretty sweet collage there LBH. Can everyone feel the love? :-* I do! Congrats to all the new moderators, chris, LBH and roadwarrior! i have faith you'll all do a fine job. Although it's not a hard one with all us great folks on the site.
  14. I try to read alot on bass biology and behaviour. It helps me to understand about reaction strikes, spawning, seasonal patterns etc... It's helpful to know why they do something rather than merely being aware that they do it. You must be at "one" with the bass. Think like the bass. Be the bass.
  15. BassResource is Glenn. Come on now...
