has anyone heard the results of the meeting about draining and dredging the two lakes, or seen any pics of the plan?

find the bait fish and you will find bass. good electronics help a lot

fished some sat. at kentucky, caught mine on pea gravel at front of small bay on east side close to the dam. saw a guide at the ramp and they caught fish in back of bays. there was a big tourny this weekend and the ones i saw were in the bays, but we had 2-3ft. waves on main lake so ledge fishing was impossible for most. I have not gotten that northeast thing, even UK is in south east conference.

have two duckett rods and am happy with them, but have a carrot stix micro 7'2" that is the lightest i have ever used. i have not tried any of the real expensive rods though.

i would try light jig 1/8oz. baby brush threaded up the hook for trailer. fish will likely be in eddies behind rocks or in shade, so cast up and bring down stream.lightest line possible or floro. top water too! there was a segment on ky afield, so you might be able to find it or utube stream fishing.

i bought 2003 champion 188 tandem axle, and one center cap is missing. anyone know how to find them since they are not made any more,or should i go to local wheel and tire shop and try?

i have a 2010 model (pqx10sd) bps qualifier that is whining at middle to end of cast. i want to replace bearings, but can't find them at boca or vbx with out knowing size. anyone know size or do i need to go parts store to get measurements.

caught prob. my biggest ever in a bay that had cleaner water than main lake april 12th. the bay had a small channel opening that kept alot of the mud coming up from south out, and had fish stacked in it. fished it 5-6 hours total and my buddy and i caught around 75 fish including my 7lb. and his 4.5 lb lg. mouths

i got two falcon orig. at wal-mart when they got rid of them for $20 each. i've seen the 6'6" md. bend farther than i've ever seen a rod bend and not break on a stupid side hooked drum.

gonna be fishing out of mineral mounds in mid april. probably asking a little too early, but got any tips. i know weather/temp. plays a big factor, but want to be prepaired. i have humm. 898si with navionics maps. thanks.

got a 6'9" mh and is a great jig dragging rod. will probably buy more if they go on sale or go with a micro guide version

don't know about a paper map, but if you know anyone with a navionics card, it has patoka with 1 foot increments

me too, was gonna have a kistler built 7'10" for $280, but got ok price on ebay for the carrot.

tried my new carrot micro on ky. lake and so far am happy with it. didn't get to use as much as i would like because the d**n wind cut trip short. got a 7'2" med, but don't have anything to compare to for distance, but did noticed better accuracy. i see no reason for me not to keep buying micro guides. will wait for more competition though.

how is rough river lake? haven't been there in over 10 years. do they drop it much for the winter?

going there in a few days, hopefully temp. dips below 90! haven't fished it in nov. but i do usually fish north end and have pretty good luck. if you don't want to fish banks and points, then a detailed topo. or gps map and good electronics is a must.

in owensboro. mostly fish ky/barkley lakes.

does anyone know a repair service near western kentucky? i have a guide with a notch in it and would like to go ahead with micros on it.
