Senkos, Why Spend The Extra $ When Cheaper Out There
While I do believe there is a difference in GYCB Senkos vs. knock-offs, I no longer believe that in order to catch more, bigger, better bass I have to use them. A year or two back I purposefully went out and bought a bag of 4" BPS Stick-O worms and only took that bag out with me for a day of fishing. Boy was it a great day. Since then, I've come to rely on Stick-Os of different colors, lengths and keep catching plenty of bass. But I still buy a bag of Senkos when they're on sale in particular colors that I can't find in other brands.

Hello From Chesterfield Va!
Welcome aboard! We've all been there with "the big 'un that got away"... Like Jeff said, they can haunt you for a long time. I know I still see them tail dancing just past my net, looking me in the eye and spitting the hook and worm back at me. I swear I hear gurgling laughter as they dive back into the depths...

Baitcasting Reels
Lower profile to the rod. Set the gear "box" on the outside and voi la, you've got a low profile setup. I've been away from tennis for over 15 years. A frickin' lot has changed since I was in the game. LOL. Racquets, spin, it ain't a "take-yer-time" game any more. Fishing is still the same game, but the tools have changed. Can still catch on all the old gear, no problems, but like tennis, there are newer ways to do so. Not necessarily better, just newer.... My .02.

Feel Free Kayaks
The Lure looks to be a fantastic yak for the money. I've kept a keen eye on them since their release. That said, I own a Native Ultimate 12 which I love. Picked it over the Commander due to comfort of standing in the Native's convex pontoons vs. the Commander's concave - at least that's how I see them. Regardless. If you have an ounce of ingenuity, you could fashion a mount for a trolling motor (as I've done) and be happy happy happy. There are DIY videos and web sites out there. Or, if you prefer, you can buy a kit from BassYaks for the Lure. Steve makes a killer e-yak setup and from everything I've read and seen, it is worth the extra $$. Better than a DIY...or at least MY DIY, LOL.

Bass Pro Shops Rant I Just Dont Understand It.
Sometimes it is over 70% BPS brand items! If you ship-to-store, it's all good. Well, sort of. Yeah, not usually 2 days... Nevermind. Carry on with your rant........

Bass Pro Shops Rant I Just Dont Understand It.
I hear ya, Bigbill... For me, though, BPS has kept my favs -- so far. I was disheartened when YUM discontinued their Zoom Finesse worm lookalikes in their watermelon gold flake. Nothing I've found yet works as well as that worm (for the finesse variety).

Sports Loyalty....
Bills fans are pretty dang loyal, too. We haven't been in the playoffs since Bill Clinton was in the Oval Office, and every year we hope for another Jim Kelly. Talk about loyal.

How Many Of You Exclusively Or Nearly Exclusively Fish One Bait Or One Type Of Bait?
You know, everyone has an opinion on how to fix that. I just think if you want to enjoy your outing and maximize your time, less is more. Now that doesn't mean only fish one type of bait one way. If you did soft plastics, you could rig one wacky, another TX, another mojo... Just my .02. Good luck.
