I'm with Felix. I thought this was a sad post deserving of condolences... Perhaps it still is. LOL.
  4. I assumed you would say "YumF2" given your user name For me I pretty much go with BPS Stick-O worms, Zoom Trick and Finesse worms, then GYCB Senkos.
  5. Welcome aboard!
  6. Welcome aboard!
  7. Excellent haul!
  8. Hey, I already moved back south from the nasal sounds of Western NY. it is SODA, not PAHHHP. HAMburger, not HAaaamburg. Dang. I'm having a tough night. My Bills lose and I have to recall the atrocious accent I evaded! LOL...
  9. Great video, A-Jay. Scahhht Dahhhbson. That's what I got out of the video. I JEST! I jest, my friend!
  10. Welcome aboard!
  11. That's a mole, not a shrew, FWIW. Paddle feet, much larger than a shrew. Hungry bass, though. Wonder how it wandered into the water to be eaten by a bass. Very cool.
  12. Gorgeous rod build!
  13. Hey Mike - welcome aboard! My guess is in the 2 pound range for that bass.
  14. Welcome, Brian! The best thing for you will be to read, read, and when you're done, PRACTICE! This site is phenomenal for learning the basics of bass fishing. You can start with live baits like nightcrawlers, then the simplest - at least in my opinion - way to fish is called wacky rigging. Simple hook in the 2, 1, 1/0 range and buy some 4" and 5" stick worms - commonly called Senkos. Bend the worm in half and at the bend in the worm, run the hook through it - perpendicular to the worm. You can buy hooks like Gamakatsu Wide Gap Finesse in sizes I mentioned. When you throw it out - near fallen timber, docks, etc., just let it fall in the water column on its own. The falling action does the rest. Pause a few seconds, then twitch your rod back up, lifting the bait, and then let it fall again. Oh, and hang on to your rod
  15. It is a good reel. Do a search on the site here, several posts. Not bad at all for $60. II gave mine to one of my sons and he's got the hang of it. Is a very capable, good casting reel. I like it plenty but with my Chronarch 50e reels, I no longer needed the Daiwa
  16. 7.x:1 for me just prefer them for everything
