catt i was fishing the six-mile area and the sandy creek flats.so i guess you would say north of my house and south of housen LOL.fixing to go back to work so ya'll don't beatem up to bad.

went last night caught 17 with one over 5 and the rest in the 3-4 range was fishing a ridge that came up to 14 fow with 30fow on both sides.took the wife out today and she likes throwing a crankbait and we caught several,sorry lost count but they were in the top of the grass,she had a blast.

fished six-mile housen and mcgees today with no success.fished from 2fow-21fow with jigs and trigs,the few fish we caught up shallow was on swimbaits.

R.I.P. jack :'( he was definetly a straight shooter and he was always willing to share his expertise and time and i believe we could all take a lesson in civility from him.

maybe if my partner on the rayburn tournament was capable of getting big bites we would not have had a prob ;D :-/

i stayed in the six mile and sandy area from the mouth of sm to 3\4 of the way in and the outside of sandy

fished the fort polk tournament on sat.the 25th with my wife.we won the tourn with 25 lbs.we had 2 little 14.5 swimmers and three bigguns,we also had big bass with an 8.9 caught that one in about 7-8' of grass and all the others came in about 10-12' of grass.fish were caught on jigs and 12" worms. 8-)

hey guys just wanted to let you know i fished yesterday morning with some success.i started in the six mile area throwing a horny toad with no success and then switched to a buzzbait in about 3-4' and caught my first fish 4lbs and cast right back out and caught a 7lb'er and then i proceeded to catch several more in the 2-4lb range.at about 11o'clock i went out deeper 12-18' and picked several more nice ones in the short grass on a worm .everbody have a good 4th and be safe. 8-)

they were fishing around blue lake and he said there were boats everywhere.they caught most of there fish in the worst weather possible,there big fish came when the hail was hitting them.the caught most of there fish on traps and blades in 5-10'.my son is fun fishing today and he called me and told me he caught 2-5's and 4-3lbers.he is fishing a creek channel in housen about 18' on a jig.

my buddy fished the oilmans yesterday and had 14.9 lbs

d**n i can't believe someone put a seine in carrice again well there is probably enough for two boats anyways.

catt i'm not sure what area of the lake you are on but have you been to palogouch or carrice lately those areas should turn on soon with the lake filling up.if you've been whats the water like?

well boys get ready for the snow,my son is in san angelo and they already have six inches on the ground.mother nature is our biggest foe in this world of fishing we love so much.i know that there are a few fish halfway back in housen still relating to the grass and creek intersections.the same is true for sixmile and sandy.i live in sandy cove and the fish are just like me right now confused trying to figure out do i go shallow or stay in the creek.me and them came up with the same answer stay in the cozy creek and take a wait and see approach. ;D
