  1. RE: National Fishing Sponsorship Opportunity Dear, Potential Sponsor First off let me start off by saying thank you for taking the time to read this letter of opportunity, not only for me but more so for you. My name is Gary Hammaker and I am a professional bass angler. You're probably wandering what that has to do with you. I am curious to know if you would be interested in partnering with me to promote your company in a new way. What do I mean by a new way? As an angler that competes in fishing tournaments, I can provide you with a whole new angle of advertising. This advertising will reach other anglers, their families, and spectators as well as the public in general. If you haven't yet considered this avenue to promote and market your business, it might be worth looking into. Every day more and more companies are involving themselves (as sponsors) with competitive fishing tournaments and some aren't related to the fishing industry at all. Companies like Citgo, Busch Beer, Purolator, Papa John's, Toyota, Cialis, Banana Boat, Fuji Film, Land O' Lakes, and Kellogg's are just to name a few. Due to the growing popularity of competitive tournament fishing, these and other companies are using tournament trails and anglers (like me) to help market and promote their product/service in a new format. If you are looking to find people, who could become loyal, repeat customers, I believe I can put you smack-dab in front of those prospects. In fact, as impressive as your product line is it shouldn't't be difficult for me to focus on promoting your company. As a competitive tournament angler, I have prepared some ideas to help market and promote potential sponsors. If you are even remotely interested in exploring this new advertising avenue, which I can offer, please contact me. Sincerely.

my name is Gary Hammaker I'm from ft.recovery Ohio. i fish all over the u.s. i started out in the bfl as a co- angler and now I'm a boater in the bfl and i also fish in the fishers of men (Matt 4:19). i have been an angler for over twenty years.i have several sponsors and I'm in the process of trying to join the bass pro shop pro staff. i usually fish grand lake st'mary's and Indian lake because the are the closest
  3. as an angler w/ 10 sponsors this task is as hard as you make it. be friendly and be prepared to take no for an answer. all of my sponsors are cash. however you have to start out slow and cheap. don't be afraid to ask anyone all of my sponsors have nothing to do with fishing. i started asking for 70$ now I'm up to a hundred a piece.one circuit i fish is pd n full thanks to my sponsors
  4. as a past co-angler,it's not hard at all. if you are looking to fish an flw circuit the best thing you can do is find a boater prior to meeting night that way when you sign up you will have priority w/ a guaranteed boater.the best way is to go on line and go under registration. if you have any question there is usually a number posted you can call to help you with your registration
  5. if someone was to show up w/ 7-8 i would ask them to leave three behind .that's just way to many bring 4-5. usually in Ohio fishing your not going to need to guess alot most anglers will inform u of what u will b doing most of the day and u will soon find out 2-3 was sufficient
  6. hmmmm good question as a tournament angler i prefer to land my own fish. i have lost some good fish due to the lack of experience from my co-angler. its not ther fault they just haven't had the chance to get the exp.
