This is what i did just switch the bearings out of met handle to curado handle.

I personally have both a zillion and mets and they are both really smooth i can't discern much difference. I like the clutch engagement better on the zillion like the feel of the met better both cast great.I do think the met transmits bites better than the zillion.

JDM Met has brass gears.

Don't think anybody has one yet won't be out till May.

I've got 2 jdm metaniums and 2 usdm metaniums that i put the xg handles on which i can't tell which one is jdm or usdm.

Interesting fish with both and with the exception of smaller handle i see no difference Jdm has never been unruly and probably handles lighter baits slightly better.

I would put my 150mgl at the top of the list in my under $200 reels. Is it better than my Metanium's no but it is close.

Those 150 mgl's are nice

I respectfully disagree on the Antares being that much better than the Met it is a little smoother but doesn't cast any better plus it is considerably heavier.

70 MGL has 2 extra bearings in the handle. After using the 150mgl a few times i don't see a reason for the 70mgl to exist 150mgl it's lighter almost as compact and throws better with all lure weights in my opinion.

I am using the same rod with the slx mgl makes a nice setup you'll like it.

I got the same rod and reel and i have 15 lb power pro with 8 lb invisix leader. With a 1/10 head and trd just a flick of the wrist throws it a long way.

I have the 6'10 ml and it is great with 200 bandit size cranks

Been trying a curado bfs on a phenix 7'1 feather light with 10lb flourescent yellow j braid with 8 lb invisx leader and so it's great.

With the newer bfs reels and the right rod you don't have to try.

I just got a curado bfs and mounted it on a phenix feather 7'1 light spooled it up with 15lb j braid with 8lb invisix floro. I used it to throw 1/10 ned rig and all i can say is wow can't believe i waited so long to try it so put me in the bfs camp.

I have a curado dc and a slx dc and still use them every trip great for bombing heavier stuff.

Don't know if i am the only one but after getting a couple of 20 metaniums it has made my dc reels obsolete.

Don't never mess up like i did and buy one of those 20 metaniums with a poison adrena. Makes me want to throw other stuff in the trash
