i went fishing yesterday and caught 6 diff bass all on a really slow retrieve lip less crank bait and rattle traps

it runs awesome and the only one i weighed was 5.6 lb witch is my goal to beat now

it sure was and d**n was it fun

I would like to thank everyone on here for their advice,i went out fishing today i thought it was going to turn out like the others so far this year so i started with a red eye in sexy shad,then went to a drop shot,then a spinner bait,then a jerkbait,and finally i through out a red rattle trap soon as it hit the water a pike came up and blasted it it was about 3 foot long id guess about 8 or 9 lb.i got it right to shore as i was about to grab it its tooth cut my line.so i put on a perch colored rattle trap,second cast with that caught a nice 2 1/2 lb LM bass and then i hit a rock well casting and broke it,so i put on a red eye in root beer color and man the fun started,i caught 5 other bass 4 went from 2 1/2 lb to 4 lb.i also broke my goal this year for any thing over 5,my biggest of the day went 5.6lb and it was awesome.so i just wanted to thank everyone for there awesome advice cause my brother was with me and couldn't get a bite even wen i gave him my pole to use with the bait i caught almost every fish with and as soon as he gave it back on the first cast i caught one

i would have to say you probably got some slake in the line as they were coming up and that how they shook off and sometimes it just happens and there's not really much you can do about it

well of course its a boat or i would have posted it on a lawnmower forum not here, and i got it the carbs were a lil gummed up i just kept tying it and after she back fired a few time shes running like a rapped ape,

ok how do i test the fuel pump

mine said 69 no one in my family lives that long so we will see

why would the bulb tighten up?

Well i got my motor running today,it runs strong for about 30 sec and then cuts out and its only burning the gas i sques into it with the bulb,so i prime it till it gets hard then start and then it cuts out and i have to prime it again any suggestions on what it might be

yes its in neutral and i can turn it freely,i just was not sure if it should but it does not turn wen I'm cranking the motor

OK am i supposed to beable to turn my prop by hand wen the motor is not on?if so how freely should it move?should it turn well I'm trying to crank it over?

like i said this lake isn't really known for it bass fishing I'm only fishing it cause its the only place that is not frozen right now and i did catch a couple of small mouth on live grass crabs like 2 years ago other than that i hate fishing this like but i just want to get out there and its the only place

yes i will be at the show in a few weeks, but i made it a point to drive down Texas hollow like 2 days ago and it still completely iced over still

HA HA ;D IM going behind cargill on Monday with jimmy cause he works there now so we are allowed to go out and fish but i am gonna go up and get sum steel head really soon

i say if your not fishing a turny at least you are catching fish

i searched for almost 7 months to find a boat I'm happy with try driving down the road,with small alum.boat people leave them in their yard not using them but don't even think about advertising them,you can get a really good deal that way too

should have used a strap to keep them on your neck ;D

ill have to try the jerk bait,I've tried the football jig,but other than that its not really the best bass lake around here,its Seneca lake NY,my best bass lake is still froze

i think if you think they are bad or going bad then replace them, either way it will save you money,time and effort and may keep you from getting stranded out on the water(is worth that risk)

i slow my presentation way down letting it sit on the bottom for 20 to 30 sec at a time so i think they are still to far out

i did try a c-rig on a rock hump and nothing

yea thats what i figured,its been in the upper 50s here so i thought just maybe some would come up to be in the sun and the water cant be any higher than the low 40s at best
