  1. Airborne_Angler: The beauty of the Slyder is that if offers the best of both worlds -- an innovative "Finesse Wheel" for slyyyyding lures slowly and enticingly around structure, plus a speedy 7:1 gear ratio for working reaction type baits. The blazing retrieve is great for ripping in lipless crankbaits, buzzbaits/buzz frogs, spinnerbaits and other lures designed to be worked at a faster clip. It's also useful for retrieving slack line in a hurry after casting, so you won't miss any hits on the drop. For the money...the Pinnacle Vision Slyder can't be beat. Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
  2. Speedbead. Thanks for posting an excellent review. We're glad you're impressed with the quality and performance of your new Perfecta rod. In your review, you noted that this heavy action swimbait rod was as sensitive as your G. Loomis BCR854 GLX. That really says something about the Perfecta DHC5-7112CAHSB, especially since the G. Loomis model mentioned is a 7' casting rod, compared to our rod...a 7' 11" heavy action model made for swimbaits, flipping/pitching and frogs! You can imagine how sensitive our lighter 7' Perfecta casting rods are. Also, it should be noted that the price of the Loomis rod mentioned is $395 (at Amazon.com). Our Perfecta rods retail for $159.99 to $189.99. You could buy two Perfectas, and still have some change left over for line and lures! Best regards and Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
  3. KYntucky Warmouth: Thanks for the update on your new Pinnacle Tournament Class Perfecta rod. Glad you like it. We think you'll really be impressed once you get this rod out on the water. As you mentioned, it's as light as a feather, but it's also extremely sensitive, making it great for worming/jigging applications. The proprietary Double Helical Construction process we use to make our new Perfecta rods allows us to eliminate glass scrim and resin for less weight and maximumu sensitivity. Wraps of carbon tape around a high-modulus graphite prepreg "core" also make this blank extremely strong and durable. We think the quality and performance of our new Tournament Class Perfecta rods is superior to top-of-the-line bass rods from G. Loomis or St. Croix, but we'll be offering ours at about half the price of those models (MSRP for the model you received is $159.99). We'll look forward to reading your on-the-water review. Best regards and Good Fishing, Pinnacle1
  4. Thanks, Brian, for the great review. We're glad to hear you are impressed with the quality and performance of your new Tournament Class Perfecta rod. We're sure you'll catch many quality fish with it in the coming years. Best, Pinnacle1
  5. Via was a winner in Pinnacle's "Sneak Peak" Tournament Class Perfecta rod giveaway at BassResource.com. The posted review is on the new Perfecta DHC5792CAHSB (7' 9", heavy action, fast taper, 1/2-3 oz. lures, 14-30 lb. test line rating, applications: Big Swim Baits, Heavy Flipping/Pitching, Frog). Thanks for your review, Via. Glad to hear you like the rod. We're sure it will serve you well over the long haul. Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
  6. Meallenjr: Thanks for your recent post. You'll be able to purchase Pinnacle Tournament Class through select brick-and-mortar dealers nationwide starting in late fall 2010. You should also be able to purchase these reels shortly at online tackle retailers, such as ***.com. We are still in the process of determining which specific tackle retailers and e-tailers will be carrying our rods. You will also be able to purchase any desired Pinnacle products, including the new Tournament Class Perfecta rods (and Tournament Class reels) at the www.PinnacleFishing.com website. The new rods/reels should be posted and available for purchase at the Pinnacle website by mid-September. Tight Lines, Pinnacle1
  7. Thanks for your recent post and interest in Pinnacle Fishing Tackle. Our R & D team is constantly working on new products, and the type of reel you mentioned is one of them. Don't have a firm date at present for introduction or availability, however. We'll keep Bassresource.com members updated as things progress. Best regards, Pinnacle1
  8. You guys are talking about putting Shimano or Abu reels on the Pinnacle Tournament Class Rod Speedbead just won. Those will do for now...but wait until you see the new Pinnacle Tournament Class baitcasters. We just unveiled them at the recent ICAST tackle trade show in Las Vegas, and they're generating quite a buzz. Sleek, ultra-smooth and surprisingly light for all-metal reels. They're also designed to balance perfectly with our Tournament Class Perfecta Rods to form unbeatable fish-catching systems. And, while they're definitely professional-grade, these reels will retail for at least $100 less than our competitors' top-of-the-line baitcasters. They'll be available at select tackle dealers and online retailers in early 2011. You'll also be able to purchase them at the Pinnacle Fishing website (www.Pinnaclefishing.com). Regards, Pinnacle1

  14. Guys, I'm a little biased of course, but suggest you check out Pinnacle's new-for-2011 "Tournament Class" Perfecta Rods, just unveiled at this year's ICAST trade show in Las Vegas. These high modulus graphite rods feature proprietary Double Helical Contruction. They're light as a feather and hyper-sensitive, yet super strong. We worked with top BASS Elite Series pros like Paul Elias and Dave Wolak to get the actions, tapers and lengths just right for the intended applications - 15 different application-specific rods in all. Best part is, these rods are about half the price of top-of-the-line G. Loomis and St. Croix models. Tackletour.com just did a complete review on our new Tournament Class Perfecta rods, so you can check that out if you want to see images, specs, and their expert opinions on the quality and performance (www.Tackletour.com). These rods should be available online at tackle e-tailers like ***.com by late fall 2010. Check 'em out when you have a chance. Good Fishing! Pinnacle1
  15. You need to sign up for the "Perfecta Sneak Peak Rod Giveaway." You can do so by sending a PM to me, Pinnacle1, with the following information: Full Name: E-mail Address: Regular Mail Address: Your favorite fishing technique (i.e. cranking, flipping/pitching, finesse spinning, spinnerbait, swimbait, Senkos, etc.). Once I receive this info, I'll make sure you're entered into the contest. FYI, this is the last drawing (of 5 different phases) of the giveaway. We'll be selecting the winners of this last phase of the contest on July 26. Good Luck, Pinnacle1
  16. FYI...every Pinnacle Tournament Class Perfecta rod does come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. We are extremely confident in the quality and durability of our new, state-of-the-art rods, and we back them up accordingly. The Perfecta Limited Lifetime Warranty information and conditions are described clearly on the hang tag that comes with each rod. And yes, we will be honoring the Limited Lifetime Warranty in the case of our contest winners (even though they didn't actually purchase these items), as long as the other stated warranty conditions are met. Regards, Pinnacle1
  17. Gonefishing65: You can purchase Pinnacle rods through various dealers nationwide. We're working on a dealer locator as we redesign our website, but in the meantime, you can do a Google search for a dealer in your area that carries our rods. The new Pinnacle Tournament Class Perfecta rods won't be available to consumers (with the exception of 15 lucky Bassresource.com contest winners) until late fall 2010. We are currently working with dealers accross the country to which stores will actually be offering these products. You will also be able to purchase any desired Pinnacle Perfecta rods (or other Pinnacle products) online, directly through the www.Pinnaclefishing.com website. Regards, Pinnacle1
  18. Same answer on the reels...engineered at our factory in South Korea and assembled in our factory in China, under the highest standards for quality assurance. Regards, Pinnacle1
  19. Thanks, Speedbead. You're correct...should be PA not VA for our winner "BadKarma42." Typo on my part. Tell him not to worry...we have the correct shipping address on the rod shipment form. Best, Pinnacle1

Once you've had a chance to wet a line with it, we'll look forward to reading your posted review at the "Fishing Rods, Reels, etc." and the Pinnacle Fishing forums. Congratulations!
