  6. boy did you nail it sinker It's funny how if you get down sout h and have NY plates on your truck you are automatically from the city. : The snow and cold suck but the bass fishing is next to non, no you're not going to catch a 10 lber but you can wear your arm off with 3,4,,and 5's
  7. man when I say central I mean central you guys are 4 hrs from me but you can still fish with me as long as you don't want to go on the h word (that's hudson)

  15. one of these day's i'm gonna buy a digital cam but until then got a triton tr21 with a 225 johnson venom it's a rocket 8) hey bowjunkie what year is your skeet? I see the old logo I've got a soft spot for them my first bass rig was a 1981 skeeter sierra 900 with a 85 hp johnson and i'm trying to sell a 1987 starfire 175 with a 150 on it those two boat's hold a dear place in my heart your's looks clean dude
  16. I have an x135 on the bow of my Triton and I love it :) I was considering putting it on my console but then realized that I wanted the better one on the bow because that's were i fish duhhhhh the flasher mode is sick if you do any deep verticle jiggin good choice
  17. what type of depthfinder is it? I'd be concerned that it dosn't work right on the trolling motor because that is exactly how I was going to tell you to mount it
  18. make sure you buy a deep v style boat especially if you want to use it for salt also. and you will want to put a salt water trolling motor on it like the minn kota riptide, you can get into a transom mount riptide for about 200 buck's good luck I will always remember mine it was a 12 footer with an 8 horse chrysler and a shakespeare sigma trolling motor. aaahhhhhh the day's were a 6 gallon tank lasted two days 8)
  19. single greatest film ever made about bass I watched it years ago and have sand paper thumb prints to show for it ;D
  20. in NY in these conditions you only need two baits 1 a spinnerbait 2 a spider grub to follow with the fish should be activly feeding so the s bait will let you cover lot's of water and find them the spider will catch the finiky one's
  21. you guys are killin me ;D I think you did right, set an example of how to act and maby these dink's will get the hint. anyway my favorite dink lure is a saltwater chug bug 4/0 trebles and you can throw it a mile if you throw it on light line you can bury it in them then snap off so you're out of harms way before they know what hit em 8) p.s. it works great on jet ski's too
  22. I've been working fishing tackle retail for 18 years so ad's don't really get me anymore. but you would'nt believe the discipline is take's to work around this stuff all day and not buy it all I will say that there is one Magazine I get that I do look a little more at than others. As a member of U.S. Anglers Choice I recieve Bass West and just like was stated earlier in this thread it's cool to see what's coming eastward first. P.S. if you like lucky craft I had the opportunity to fish some baits from Jackall holy cow they rock
  23. well I havn't been a newbie for awhile however I don't mind being one here, I stumbled on this site through the links on *** and I'm glad I did.
