Post The Date Of The Bass Spawn In Your Area.
Mid to late May, typically. We will see many of the bigger females spawn into June, as well.

Spinning Reels and Braid?
I'm fishing TufLine XP in 15/4 on a CI4. I've grown to love it for dragging tubes and other finesse applications because of its soft delivery and ease of use. I like it so far, will probably continue to use it.

Crucial Spinning Rods
I didn't like the 7-2 MH in the Cumara at all. Too tip heavy and the tip was too slow. I fished it for about three days last year and got rid of it. I think the MXF is much more versatile.

Yum F2 Baits
I stocked up on Tubes, Vibra Tube, Craw Papi, and Big Show worms. There's something about the Yum Green Pumpkin that is different than any other, fish around here just hammer it. If I didn't have the 4" Yum tube I'd be lost.

Behemoth Tungsten
I can't get a picture of it, so I'll try to explain it. The alley weights aren't as well finished over all, and the cavity on the backside isn't as deep or as well polished. The hole diameter is a lot larger as well. The Behemoth is well polished with a deeper cavity that meshes better to the bait. It seems like the knot is less likely to be damaged because of the polished surface, too. I really wish I had a better camera so you could see it. That said, they may be the exact same weights from different batches, I don't know. It doesn't seem that way from the differences in the cavity, the polish, and the finish, but it could be.

Favorite bait, weather, and cover
My absolute favorite is probably late summer ripping a spoon on humps, no idea why I get such a kick out of it other than the fish just inhale the stupid ting. Second would be pitching grass edges in clear water.

All Terrain Jigs
I was debating the change myself this year. I've been fishing the SK Premier Plus or the Hack, too. What did it for me is the 1/2 oz Northstar is more compact but has a much better (read slower) fall rate than the SK. The only thing I can come up with is that the skirt is that much more full. The price on them is well under what I would have payed for a jig that was as durable as they are locally. The other reason I did it is that the Northstar hook is always, and I mean always, up. It will not roll over on you like the SK did for me. Many times in shallow water the SK jig would roll on the side. That was the last straw for me, thus I decided to make the switch for this year. Made an order of the Northstar jigs and there'll be no looking back.

Behemoth Tungsten
I do indeed. I will post a pic as to why, if I can get it to show, too.

Just Rode Thru The Tokyo 7.4 Earthquake
I was to fly into NRT 3/10 for business. It ended up that my OMA-DEN was over three hours delayed and I wouldn't have made my connection in SFO so I rebooked for 3/11. It goes from there. I pray for their recovery, that's about all I can do.

Line!!?!?!?
12lb Seaguar Red label or Yo-Zuri Hybrid on casting except topwater and jerkbait rods, on which I'd put Suffix Siege. 6lb Siege or Elite on spinning if you want mono/copoly or Ultra-Soft if you want fluoro.

Kvd Vs Ardent Line Conditioners
KVD made me a believer in using it on line I had previously had a problem with on a Stella. I'd never had problems with ANY line on the reel, but this one made it nearly impossible to manage a cast. KVD L+L made all the difference and made the line fishable.

Little Kvd Line And Lure Report
My thoughts exactly. KVD isn't going to help tremendously with line twist, that's mostly the properties of the reel. One of the primary reasons XL excels in walleye circles is because of its limpness and easy handling. Fishing light jigs and rigs you get excellent casting distance and fall rates when opposed to other lines. That said, Suffix Elite has seen a dramatic rise in popularity amongst walleye anglers. Sorry for the micro-derailment.

Wiggle Wart Color I.d.
I'm unsure of the names but know that two of the three are killers. Sorry I can't be of some use.

Crucial Spinning Rods
Yes. It's a good choice for an all-round finesse rod.

Crucial Spinning Rods
The Cumara and Crucial are very similar in that rod, the 7-2 MXF. I don't know that there's enough difference to bump up to the Cumara, really. I don't like the 6-8MXF at all in the Crucial, it's too soft a tip, more like a fast. The Cumara 6-8 MXF is far and away a better rod than the Crucial in that length/action, from what you're description it would be the better of the two. From your original post, the 7-2MXF would be the better choice. That said, the 7-2 in both Crucial and Cumara are my drop shot rods, I never fish the Crucial anymore, but my wife loves it. The rod I fish for the purpose you're inquiring is the Avid AVS68MXF.

Trailers For Finesse Jigs
Big-O posted that bit sometime a while ago, and I gave them a shot. Works wonders. I also like the Baby craw and tiny Paca.

Toray Bawo Premium Plus Hi Grade
Tatsu is the better of the two. It doesn't have the stretch that Toray does, and it's a little better in terms of handling. I'm happy I tried the Toray, but I'll stick with my Tatsu as a premium.

Behemoth Tungsten
Huh, Fooled me then. The two are nothing alike in terms of finished weights.
-
Inconsistencies In Sk Crankbaits
I doubt it. There are a half million factors that could contribute to that.
-
Behemoth Tungsten
Me too, but the weights are definitely nothing close to one another.

Strike King Shadalicious
It's a decent plastic, I'll get 8-10 fish or more on one, as long as I'm using the Owner swimbait hooks.
-
Yum F2 Baits
I didn't like the plastic either. The F2 feels overly stiff, and it seemed like it was hard to rig.

G. Loomis Imx Or Shimano Ci4F
Stradic CI4 1000

Weedless Wacky Rig
I'm in love with these hooks for wacky rigs and drop shot now. They're awesome. Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky hook. My only dislike is that they're in 3packs at most retailers. I hate buying hooks in qty less than 10. They're a little pricey, too, but worth every penny to me.

G. Loomis Imx Or Shimano Ci4F
So, let me figure this out... You want to compare the Sustain and the Stradic CI4. Then you want to compare the GL2/3 and IMX. Then validate which would be the better to spend money on first and replace later? The first of your questions has been answered a few times in your other threads. The IMX is the better of the three without a doubt. As for the third, only you can decide what's more important to you. A sensitive rod, or a smooth reel.
