Your Favorite Oakley Lens Color?
I like the Bronze and Titanium iridium polarized. The Titanium is a great lens for most situations because of the contrast.

Finesse Fishing Help!
No, I've fished in real wind, it's just that usually in those situations I say the heck with it and I'm pitching 3/4-1ounce jigs. In all actuality, you're right though. Finesse is more a frame of mind and handling situations as opposed to being specific of a jig or technique. I should have worded my previous response more appropriately.

Havoc Craw Fatty And Slop Craw
In all seriousness, he gave you all the information you need in order to draw a conclusion. There is more info in that single post than you'll find in the entirety of many threads.

Baitcasters: Handles, Why? Spools, Why Not?
Uh, no, no they dont. Mount a reel on back of a boat, just the reel. Chuck a bait out there and latch on to a 140lb class sail. Try to land that fish without the rod fighting it. That sail would spool you faster than you can say, yep, I was wrong. The rod is what gives leverage and power to turn and fight fish. Without it, you're sunk. I don't care what reel you're talking about, they do not fight the fish.

Need Help On Making The Braid To Mono Switch!
That's your opinion. Mileage may vary. I don't really like braid, I don't like the noise through my guides, I don't like the tip wraps and wind knots. I don't like the idea of a leader, it defeats the purpose of using braid in the first place, you now have a weak spot at that junction and the overall strength of your setup is now compromised. You can't fish braid around rocks. I've broken off with braid around docks, too. The only time I fish braid anymore is flipping grass, hard cover, and punching, and I never use a leader. That's my opinion, and there are people that will disagree with it, I'm alright with that. I favor 15lb fluorocarbon of higher quality for my plastics rods.I currently have one spooled with Tatsu and one with Toray in 16lb. There's nothing special you have to do, you transition from one type of cover to the next and you're never situationally limited; you don't have to worry about fishing it around rocks, or docks, for instance. You get consistent performance without the braid becoming loose on your reel over time. Fluorocarbon is the best choice for the majority of fishing situations, again my opinion which some will disagree with.

Crank Problems
I've occasionally had Lucky Craft Flat CBs that weren't tuned out of the box. It happens. I had bemoaned Strike King cranks earlier this year and after I ordered 25 series 5, 6, and 6XD I had to retract it, I have thrown 15 of them checking them and every single one is just fine. I've got a pile of Middle N and Deep Little N that are in need of tuning.

Shades For Eye Glasses?
I think Smith prescription is only an additional $40 or $50 above regular retail. Oakley's aren't bad as far as cost, either.

Lucky Craft Pointer And Retrieve
Getting the bait to turn can be done several different ways. One of my favorites is to give it a sharp tap on lightly slack line. Sometimes that will trigger a crushing hit. Amongst other things, you can make it roll almost sideways, you can give it upward taps with you rod tip rather than pointing down and it will dart up and to the side. You can keep the bait in a very small area working it very slowly with light taps with just a bit of slack in your line. Sometimes a gentle pull is what they want, where the bait is barely moving. That's the beauty of jerkbaits, it's all about cadence and technique. The lures have no appeal without the skill of the angler, so to speak. The just aren't effective baits to cast and retrieve, you have to create the action.

Anyone Try The Trokar Tournament Tube Hooks?
OK. Gotcha. I've not spent a whole lot of time with the Tube hooks, so I can't answer that. I got a pack last week, haven't used them because winter decided to return. I figured to give them a shot. If I do before you, I'll let you know how they turn out.

Finesse Fishing Help!
3/8 is pretty heavy for a shakey head where I'm from. I'm usually fishing no heavier than 3/32. Pitch to cover let sink on semi-taught line to keep it from drawing back to you, wiggle jiggle, rinse repeat. Shaking on more of a slack line will keep it in place for a longer period.

Shades For Eye Glasses?
Cocoons. http://www.cocoonseyewear.com/ The other thing to try, no matter how severe your correction, is to see who will or will not make a glass in prescription polarized. A friend of mine that has really heavy correct was able to get a pair of Oakley's made.

Havoc Craw Fatty And Slop Craw
I've done really well on the Slop Craw for exactly the reason Francho mentioned. The way the bait falls is great. The way it sits on bottom is perfect. slow crawling that bait in emerging vegetation has been my most productive bait this spring (And we're not even above 48° yet.) The Pit Boss has produced a few fish as well, down south.

Green Polarized Lenses
I can't say anything of extended use, but when I tried them on, they really dulled some colors out like while they enhanced others. I didn't like the lens tint so I stuck with my Costas,

Anyone Try The Trokar Tournament Tube Hooks?
I'm using the Flipping Hook, Light Wire Worm, and the HD worm; to this point the main issue that I'd had was breaking the hook. That was in the very first package that I had and they were replaced by the manufacturer. I haven't noticed any problem of rolling points, but many people have claimed that issue, as yet I've not had it.

Stickjacket
I figured that, but I quoted you without meaning to. We're both failures at quoting.
-
Stickjacket
I just looked at mine, they're not Stick Jacket. I have Rod Slicks. The 6.5-7.5 fit perfectly.
-
Stickjacket
A general rule of 12 inches shorter than the blank will put the jacket at the right length. I've got a dozen or more and they've been right with every one.

Asakura "the Winch" Jig
Dollar for dollar you're not going to find a better jig. There are some that are far more expensive that don't hold a candle to it. Between Gman and Northstar I don't need any other suppliers for my jigs.

Yum F2 Baits
When it boils down to it, the majority of the reason I no longer like Dingers is that they don't make them in the right color. They have one color I would use, other than that, nada. The only color of yum anything I buy is the Green Pumpkin.

Question For Braided Line Users
My Ross pliers have carbide cutters that cuts braid.

Anyone Try The Trokar Tournament Tube Hooks?
The Mustad hook is quite nice as well. The pin is welded instead o f plastic.
-
Asakura "the Winch" Jig
I'd strongly encourage you to look at the Northstar jigs. The "alien" head comes through weeds really well, has a well set tie, and it has a very good fall rate. It flips cover very well, both hard and soft. I've been very impressed with them thus far.
