I am in Northern Va, (Loudoun/Sterling area) but may be willing to travel to this meet & greet/fish. I'll keep an eye on the thread for a final date/time. If anyone else in the NVA Area is interested a rider or two could be fun. I also happen to have a bass boat if there is interest in using it or just fish from bank would be good as well. 8-)

Hey Guys, I am headed to Edenton NC for the an extended weekend Jul 2-6 and wanted to see if anyone has any information on what the fishing is like in the area this year. I've had some luck there in the past, but since I don't get there very often it's become hit or miss. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions either here or PM me. Nitro, Yes I have put in there a number of times last year with my gas engine propped out of the water and run on Trolling Motor Only. Most of the lakes in the area allow this. I haven't fished it this year yet but everytime out there last year it was hard to fish for us. Nice lake though. 8-)

I am looking to buy a family (6-8 person) tent and was thought I'd check here to see if anyone had good/bad experiences. Probably in the price range $200.00-$300.00. Any input would be appreciated. 8-)

I'm good with the Cowboys pick of Dez (not that we needed another WR) but best available player and JJ Really wanted him. 2nd pick of MLB should put writing on the wall for B Carpenter who can go to dolphins and B. Parcells now. 8-)

I think the comish read everything & talked to everyone he could before making his decision, so that's what Ben and the Steelers have to live with for now. As far as trading him I believe the Rooney's will do what's best for the Rooney's & Steelers Image and they pay the bills. JMHO 8-)

the teacher/admin won't be saying or reporting anything due to the school districts councel most likely telling them to not say anything for fear of a law suit being bought upon them.

filed both Fed and State in early Feb and had both refund checks within 2 weeks. 8-)

Here is my ride. 2004 Nitro 700 LX with a 90 hp Tracker. I purchase it used in 2006 and have upgraded the TM to an MK from the MG that was on it. I love this thing and it hasn't given me any trouble since the day I bought it. The only issue I have is finding/creating the time to get out on it. Good Fishing all 8-)

Not sure why but we threw everything we had in multiple spots and didn't get a hit all day. I heard that earlier in the week spinners were working some. The water was still murky Sat. and may clean up some if we get decent weather after this rain today. There was some action as off the dock they were catching small crappie & cats. I'll look forward to your report on brittle and wish I could be of more help. Good Fishing 8-)

I haven't tried Brittle yet this year, but my experience is that this early there isn't much there. I was at Germantown Sat. from 7am-1pm and didn't get anything there. The water temps were between 50-54 then. There were probably 10-15 boats out inclulding my son-in-law & I and everyone I spoke with said that with the temps things were real slow, but should pick up in a week or two. I may try brittle this weekend with my brother-in-law, but will see how the weather is going to be first. Good Fishing 8-)

I was in the same situation when we went looking for a vehical for my wife/family. I have a Silverado that I use whenever I go out without the family. We looked at larger cars, but couldn't find anything we were thrilled with. We ended up purchasing a Tahoe and what a great decision this was. Now if we go somewhere as a family we can always take the boat along. Good Fishing 8-)

Hi All. Just found this site and registered. Trying to take it all in what a great site just from the little I've had a chance to read. I am impressed with the wealth of information and experience that there is here. I live in Potomac Falls Va. have been fishing, mostly alone or with my brother-in-law, for the last 4 years. I bought a Nitro 700 LX SC 17' Bass Boat w/90 hp Tracker Motor 2 yrs ago, but haven't had alot of water time due to work priorities. I have fished in VA, NC, WV & MD over the years, but nothing regularly. Good Fishing in 2010.
