I googled it. It's a rare type of deer, of which the largest herd is confined in the base in Seneca ny. Pretty neat stuff.

Its all relative but conventional bass fishing is peanuts compared to swim bait fishing...baits are $50-$500, and once you start your gonna need them all.

You can use soap, typical dish soaps will not penetration the "seasoning". We've been cast iron only forever, and use them daily. Had a customer recently give me her whole set of already seasoned, different sized pans...added them to our collection. That being said, we use a small plastic scraper with warm water only 99% of the time.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I would focus on spending time with him, and maybe get the gun down the road when your in a better position. The gun can then be a reminder or tribute to him, maybe have his name engraved on it.
