  9. Thanks guys checkin into the tensioners.
  10. I got my 6'9 mh spin and 6'9 mh cast LTA's for 1/2 price too! Like stated before there VERY sensative and they have a great warranty, along with costumer service. Very few MH production rods are rated to throw down to 1/8 oz. weights. I've thrown 1/16 on mine and still feel every tick!! Buy 2 I did and love them!!
  11. Mostly a 5/16 to 1/2 oz. t-rig in light to moderate cover.Laydowns, overhangs, little brush. 15# Pro line.Nothin to heavy maybe some pads later in the year. We don't get too much heavy stuff in Ohio unless it's wood.
  12. Narrowed it down to these three rods for a pitchin rod. There all around the same price point. 7'6 mh or h ain't sure yet Can anyone comment on any of them?
  13. Definately thinkin about it, just ain't sure about the thread spool tensioners. e-bay has a 47" hand wrapper for 30$.
  14. You won't be disappointed! I bought all my rods from Simmons. That store rocks!!
  15. I'll take one to!!!!
  16. The Argons are Nice rods I have three. But like farmer said there discontiued. I,ve pulled in a 5 pnder with my ML and it had plenty of back bone. There definately a better rod than the Mag. But to each his own... Or just get the LTA!
  17. I'm goin to biuld a pitchin rod the 7'10 mh mf is what I want. I like a soft tip for pitchin and like 1/4 to 1oz weights any sugg for 50 - 75 bucks. My budget took a hit this X-mas ( I have 4 boys) but I might wait alittle to get a better blank. Also lookin for a cheap hand wraper and drying motor. seen some on E-bay for deceint coin. Any sugg?
  18. Premiers aren't any good. You would probably want to stick with a Curado. I'll give ya 110$ for it just to take it off your hands. ;D Like said earlier you can do anything with that reel...
  19. X2!! Even if I was wealthy I wouldn't pay that much for any reel!!
  20. any one like the Crucial Flippin rod ? What about E21 no more sugg? Ah well maybe I'll just make my own...

Depends on conditions... Muddy and stained water junebug and blackneon clear water watermelon.. IMO Should of got the BPS flippin tube dark melon my favorite or green punkin junebug tail catches um in all water conditions.
  22. Easy fella's... The Rod I use now is a Argon 6'11 H MF I love the rod! Is it a pitchin rod no it's a heavy spinner bait rod, but I use it for Pitchin. I was Pitchin when I was 8 yrs old with a spinning reel. I agree that pitching is just a variation of a cast. Flippin is not. I use to flip with a can pole when I was 6. I was just thinking about getting a longer rod too try out. I pitch with my 6'9 Helium Jig rod all the time. Depending on cover and situation I'm in. Dave TW has them for 150$ right now.(The castaway that is) ww2farmer thats cool every rod on my boat I got from Simmons GREAT store and customer service. Was just going to try something different than Kistler. I love there rods thow!!! Anyway I could care less what Denny seys... Do I respect him SURE he's one of the best. But that's because he did things his way not what someone told him was the RIGHT way... Thanks guys I love a good debate!
  23. Well I'm looking to get a New Pitching rod. 100-150$ I prefer cork over that new foam stuff. Probably 7'6 to throw 5/16 ounce baits any suggestions. Looking at the Castaway skeleton but really opened minded about brand. any Suggestions would help.
  24. Thanks RM great site!!!!
  25. 1) drop shot 2) dart head/shakey head/light texas rig/zappu 3)Im not big on senko on spinning but it fits 4)top water/crank baits/rip baits/senko 5)jigs/texas rigs(brush hogs dead ringers)/toads(horney toads) X2! That about covers it...
