Fish attractants and scents
I bought a bottle of the Power Team Lures new hog tonic and like it a lot. It stays with your bait longer and has a powerful scent. Don't have to keep spraying your lures all day.

Falcon LFC-6-276T LR, Kistler Magnesium MGADPT78T or Team Daiwa-S 76THFB
I have the Kistler DPT78T rod and I really like it a lot. The sensitivity of this rod is Unbelievable and it is extremely light, thats what sold me on this rod. I can fish a big jig all day and my hands and arms are not tired. When it comes to rods, I look for the most sensitive one I can find and to me, Kistler has the most sensitive. Great rod to travel with.

Kistler rod diferences
The Helium does have more sensitivity than the mag rod. I have 3 of the heliums and about 5 of the mags. They are both great rods. The helium would be a great rod for the application you will be using it for. I personally like the mag because of the feel. I also bought a couple of the new z bones, now you want to talk about sensitivity, these rods are almost to sensitive. But yeah, the helium does have a little more sensitivity.

Drop shot plastics
Power Team Lures has come out with a bait that is great for drop Shoting, the Finicky Tickler. This 5" worm has great action on the drop shot and they all are impregnated with a special scent that will make your fish hang on longer. June bug is my favorite.

To Chatter or not to chatter?
The chatterbait is great anywhere, anytime. Most favorite is the solid white and I use a twin tail trailer. Works great in muddy water in the black and blue. Caught some big fish at Lake Eufaula last fall with the chatterbait.

Plastics
Thanks, I ordered some of the Lizards and Diesel Craws. They looked like they would catch a big un.

Plastics
Has anyone tried the new Power Team Lures plastics? I got a few of their Craw D'oeuvre lures and used a couple of weeks ago and I have to say, those are some awesome baits. Just wondering what anyone else thought? The web site had some goodlooking baits.

Help with rod choice.
I have a Kistler 7'-0" Magnesium rod that I use for flukes. If you are looking for a sensitive rod then this would be your rod. MH power / fast action. I like the ones with the micro guides on them, you can cast your bait at farther distances and with the line laying on the rod, it makes it just that more sensitive. check em out - www.kistlerrods.com.

Recently recarpeted boat
Beard trimmer works great. Just replaced carpet in my Uncles boat and had to trim every lid on the boat. Used my trimmer to trim all edges and now they close fairly well, still snug. Now gotta go buy a new trimmer.

New Jigging Spoon rod ?????
Take a look at the Kistler magnesium rods. The 6-9 all purpose rod would be a great rod for this application and it is super sensitive.
-
How many rods?
20 rods in the boat - 6-8 on the deck, all different actions and baits.

flippin and pitchin
Check out the Kistler Rods. These are the most lightest and most sensitive rods that I have ever used. You can now go to their website and build your own custom rod for the application you want to use it for. I have 4 of the new custom z bones and I will be getting more. Great Rods.

kistler jig rod
Yes, the Helium II rod is a great rod for jigs. I have 2 of them and they are great rods. I just bought the new z bone and this rod is amazing. The most sensitive and the lightest rod that I have ever used. You will not be making a mistake if you get the Helium. And the customer service is the best bar none.

Duckett Micro Magic: Any Reviews?
Don't know about the Duckett rods but the Kistler Micro rod is amazing. Kistler is using the Northfork blanks for their rods and I believe that they are the lightest and most sensitive rods out on the market. I have a couple of the micro magnesiums and a couple of the new z bones and will own more soon. Blank quality is great.

crankin rod
Top water works good with my cranking rod.

micro guides?
I really like the new micro guides. I got a couple of the new Kistler z bones with the new micro guides and these rods are great. With the micro guides I have no more line slapping when I make long casts and with the line sitting on the rod, you can feel more bites/structure. Plus, no more line tangling when you got several rods laying on the deck. Just my opinion, but I think all my Kistler rods will have micro guides on them from now on.

Which rod??
Kistler Magnesiums - a great rod for the price. There is a magnesium for all applications.
