  1. Great rods bar none (but I like the new z bones better). I have the Helium LTX 7' MH and it is perfect for spinnerbaits and also the Helium LTX 7' M which I use for cranking. These rods are so sensitive and feather light it's unreal and with the FUJI ECS exposed blank reel seats you can feel every bite you get and is very comfortable to hold all day.
  2. A great rod for swim baits is the Kistler Helium LTA 7'-6" / heavy. With a good reel and 20lb. fluoro this would be the set up. This rod has the FUJI ECS exposed blank reel seat and one of the most comfortable rods to hold in your hands for a good days fishing. Larger swim baits may call for a little bigger line. As stated - crankbait rod would be to soft for larger swimmers - need more back bone. Anyway, this is the set up that I use.
  3. I have the Kistler Carbon Steel that I use for weightless worms and it works good for this. Very light and sensitive and is 6'-9" long / medium.
  4. Medium with a mod-fast (or fast) tip. I use the Kistler Micro Magnesium 7'.
  5. Kistler Helium LTA 7'-6". Powerful rod,
  6. I have the Argon crankbait rod and it is a great rod. Very light and the sensitivity is out of this world. And now with their new micro guides, they are even more sensitive and lighter. Since Kistler has discountinued the Argons, I have now gone to the new Z Bones and am enjoying them even more.
  7. Shimano CI4 hooked up with the new Kistler z bone. This is a great setup. The new micro guides are the best.
  8. I like a medium for this application. I use a Kistler magnesium and the new z bone for jerkbaits and it works perfect for this. Plenty of backbone and still has the action for the baits. also use medium for shallow cranking.
