At 50 + you will see things very differently , you can plan all you want to , save all you want to , so you can do what you want to when you retire , well , life has a funny way of getting in the way of your desires . Do what you can , when you can , put the important stuff ahead of you and leave the yesterdays where they belong , behind you . Only 10 years in the work force under your belt is not a very long time at all , be patient and take every advantage of educational opportunities you have to improve your marketability .

I had no clue that I was a professional underwear model and yet , my profile clearly states that I am !! All I can say is that I must not be a very good one , I'm not rich and famous , yet , I have no royalties rolling in , however , that does explain all the swooning calls I have been getting from strange women ...

I Have 3 , I purchased an entry reel at Walmart , the Lew's MCS speed spool laser , I used it one season and found them to be truly amazing reels for less than 100 bucks , compared to the other reels I have in that same price range , quantum , pflueger , my casting distance improved along with trying this reel out in other areas as well like pitching , skipping , less professional overruns otherwise known as backlashes , nesting etc... LOL ! They are quite versatile , I liked it so much that I went and purchased 2 tournament Lite reels from Lew's , the braking systems on these tournament lite's are amazing with 27 positions , each click you can actually see a noticeable change especially with distance , the spool tensioner also has a click style adjustment that won't move , the best part is when you cast it out with ease , the bait really reaches out there with very little effort on your part , I am extremely happy with Lew's and their products .

Be patient , I had noted that they were very busy this time of year , they are really good people I promise , you might try Charlie Boils out of Sturgeon Creek marina , I think he's still doing it if you haven't already .

I would love the opportunity to fish Briery or several others , need to get my daughters aluminum boat fixed first though , Anna does have her moments but she is a big bass fishery , 4 eight pounders in just 5 days this past week means the girls are moving up and it should be an exciting time right now , all in all though , you have a beautiful big bass lake in your back yard and I wish I lived a lot closer to her like you do LOL !! Take this prime opportunity to do some scouting , large expansive flats hold some prime fish right now like back in the shallows of the old Anna River , look for some of the grassy areas and target those as well !!

I'm fishing the Reel American Heroes tournament on July 25th , never been on the Potomac , the launch is out of Hope Springs Marina , my boat is not the ideal boat for the potomac so in order to stay safe I'm looking at just staying around that area just past the bridge and concentrating efforts on docks and grass there . Any suggestions / opinions about the tides etc... What to be wary of , prepared for are welcome ! Many thanks in advance !!!

I think September drive is just above Stubbs bridge , I have a cancer tournament there on the 12th , I will do my best to gather as much information as I can for you , also another guide that will put you on some fish is Chris Craft , the folk there at Fish Tales are a great group of people that can help you out with anything you need , McCotters is a great recommendation as posted , be sure to call ahead because they do a ton of services . There is an area just below Stubbs bridge as your heading toward the splits on your left , 2 coves that hold some pretty good fishing , good morning spots , the rip rap at the bridge and around that area are usually productive as well , from what I understand , look for the fish to be on primary points , water temps are in the low to mid 50's upper lake , not sure what mode of transportation you have or how far you can travel but there are some big-un's being hauled in around the mid to lower lake regions . Went out yesterday with Choporoz , other than the engine failure it was a great day to fish , cold to start the day but warmed up nicely for a few hrs. Water temps up in the Anna arm are 55 to 57 , stained , lake is down a foot to a foot and a half , not much info on what the fish are doing , I just got a new sonar ( new to me ) and used it for the first time yesterday , the bite seems to be more concentrated in choke areas on rocks , I missed a few fish yesterday from not being used to the subtle bite , football head jigs worked better for me with rage craws as trailers , up top , the bite is very slow , one fish close to 3 lbs. is all I had for the day , Chop had a better day with 4 fish , one almost five lbs , I feel like we could have had a much more successful day had we been able to reach some of the major creeks in the lower part of the lake , however , I had a great time getting to know Chop and I am truly blessed to have been able to share some time on the water with him , I wish the circumstances would have been different but getting to know someone from here is always a bonus . Just found out I have a lock for November 11th to fish the Veterans Day tournament over at Anna , I MAY have an empty seat , not 100 % sure yet but if anyone is interested let me know !!

Really glad to see yall made it through safely , it was really blowing at the house for sure as I had thought about being happy I wasn't on the water LOL !! Nice job getting in 5 Bassun !!!

But it's my understanding that they got away with a few calls that went their way , as if another 14 to 21 points " should have been " added to the Seahawks total score , had the flags not been thrown , I am assuming the skins would not have even been in the ball park , is that an accurate assumption ? I have seen quite a few " questionable " calls in the few games I have watched this season , some seem to let the players play , others seem to do the opposite , not that it has been any different over the years but it seems to me that this year the questionable calls are going a little too far , for an example , I can't remember the teams that were playing , may have been the skins game but a defensive player had a hand on the QB's shoulder pad as the QB was in the motion of throwing the ball , nothing else , never took him to the ground , that small contact drew a roughing the passer , a bit too sensitive IMO .
