BAAAAHAHAHA !!! They want to upgrade and be successful here lets try to keep that in mind ok LOL !!! Players they should be looking at are going to have to be required to tackle at some point in their career or at the very least get dirty something I don't think either of those posers have ever done.

I think after reading all these posts that if they were to suggest a bait or present a bait for us then they should also tell us the best situations to use such baits and under what conditions they perform their best, as the credibility of any pro I have no doubt in their ability to make any of the baits work for them under the right conditions. They tend to target the younger, less experienced angler to go out and just purchace the product cause their favorite pro angler said so. I think these companies would be more successful if they were to help the younger angler with color choice info on the packet as well. Big-O puts in some great info on how to rig his product for a bigger chance of success and it helps a lot of our younger anglers, but if a bait is going to be successful then the colors the inexperienced angler chooses may fall short and the success rate falls short as well. So a little better description of color choice and when and where you will have the most success may be of some help here when suggesting we should buy their product.

I have been around here for a small amount of time, but I still continue to learn something almost on a daily basis, young-un's coming in have some great ideas, as well as older members, this site has everything I could ask for and then some, I have never been outside of this site for that reason since, I have loved this site since day one, I have had my share of growing pains, but it still allows me to grow even today, meeting people from here has allowed some pretty good relations and opened up quite a few doors, I look forward to the future of fishing and continued learning from this site. Where else can one go and have so much feedback on a bad experience and come out a winner on the other end, where else can one go and find the endless amount of FREE information that is on this site, not only from other anglers who fish the same waters as you and did not even know it, but you never know when a pro may be reading your post and may even chime in with an answer or a suggestion that could help to better us all. This is my home for all things fishing....and a few others as well. Thanx to all the new comers for joining in and thanx to all for making this the best site on the planet !!!

This was your post, I mean no disrespect to you either, but it seems that you were to quick to judge imo, if you were to go back and look at the posts that, Menendez, Carson, Hawk, and Green, put out for us, every one of them said they have used it for some time, imo, they have offered advise on the line from their perspective, not one of them said you need to go out and purchace this product, there was a lot of insite from people who use and abuse this product on a daily basis and other lines as well that they are not affiliated with and mearly offered and informed opinion on what they know to be true when comparing different lines, I saw no pimping as you put it.

As far as baits are concerned, I will take it under advisement, I will, or sometimes do, use a bait that they support or are being sponsored by. But it has to fit what my needs are, Skeet Reese and the L/C jerk Baits are one for example, I have found the L/C Pointers to be very effective where I am located, I too am one who will follow tips more so than the bait they are promoting for the most part, but I do not completely dismiss any suggestions, I will investigate and see if what they are promoting can be usefull.

You got plenty of time.....but then again....we are talking about the Eagles here LOL !!! J/K, I think if the off season goes well for you guy's you could be one of those suprise teams, but it depends on the changes, far too many need to be made in one season, but you have a good core so I believe you will be like the Skins the past two years, a few growing pains in the begining but I think you should do a 500 season this season, but we will see come the draft and where all the cards fall, so buck up !! It's always good to have hope !!! in some cases thats all we have LOL !!!

I agree, Ed did make things happen, he had a great game, the offence under Caldwell should be ok, he made the right adjustments when it counted the most, as far as the team comparing the two and saying the plays are the same between the two, is just wrong, I dont see you all making it to the SB if his plays were still being utilised, I see good things for you guy's next season and if they play like this next year, I would venture to say another trip to the SB is not out of the question. There were a ton of calls that could have been made in that game for both sides imo.

It is a prime time for them to retire if they were to do so, but are their contracts up this year? I don't think Birk will be as a big of hit as loosing Ngata would be anyway, you almost let that game get away from you, I saw a lot of lack of effort in the 2nd half by the Ravens deep in their secondary, something I did not see in the first half, Reed and the rest of the crew back there almost cost you that game IMO.

I don't think anyone who looses a big game like that wants a microphone shoved in there face and then turn right around and be asked the question "how did you lose, can you explain that to us?" Me personally, I would much rather have a chance to calm down before I spoke with anyone, I can see several reasons why I would not want to talk to anyone after an emotional game like that, plus I would imagine he did not want to take anything away from his brother. Same goes for the Pats after their loss, who in their right mind would want to answer stupid questions like that?

Traveler, Zoff and I talked on the phone the other day and thought it to be wise to come up for a visit to the potomac and get a first hand look at everything, would you be interested in showing us around?

Charlie, In refference to some of the posts about killing the snakehead, we know that it is not a nesessity, but what we were reffering to was that if you wish to keep the snakehead fish, they could not be taken from the potomac alive if you were checked at the ramp, they do not want this species spreading, so reading back through the posts, mine especially, there may have been some confusion on my part and I wish to thank you for bringing that to my attention. There is a link that I have provided on the first post concerning any questions that there may be about the Snakehead, please read this as well.

Flyfisher, We hope you can make it, we would love to have you there !! Travler, I find it a little suspecious that we did not get any pics of you, even the ones I took with my cell did not turn out for some reason, they were all blurry when you were in the photo LOL !!! We look forward to meeting each and every one of you, this year is going to be a big turn out it seems, but we need all who are making plans to attend this event to please make sure they put the vote in for either a boater or a non boater, it's very important that we have this info so that we can make plans for everything, without knowing the maximum number of people who wish to attend it's hard to make the right arrangements, so if you are even thinking about it, even if there is only an outside chance, place your boating status so that we can be as prepared as we can possibly be. We do not know yet where the meet and greet will take place, we have right now with all of the members that are showing interest over 30, but most have not commited as of yet, so the number could be larger or smaller, we are currently looking into places that can handle 30 or more people in one location for the cook out afterwards, some of us will be staying in Pohick, some of us are just coming for the day, there is a lot of variables right now. The meet and greet will be on the 24th as for the time we will most likly start at 7 and end it at 4 or 5, and as Sam said last year, get together afterwards and lie to each other about the days events lol !!
