  1. Are you talking about charcoal lighter fluid, or cigarette lighter fluid, or are they both the same. Sorry for being a pest. Hootie
  2. Can I soak the bearings in fingernail polish remover? It has acetone. Hootie
  3. I am sorry, the price I found was for a case. Whew!! Hootie
  4. Where can I find that. I am near a pepboys, a lowes, and a home depot. I dont know if I am allowed to put all those names in there or not. Hootie I just located some. I think rather than pay the $79.95, I'll just go buy a new Pro Qualifier. Phooey on cleaning bearings if it's that expensive.
  5. Is CRC carb cleaner okay to flush bearings. It's in a spray can. Hootie
  6. X2 Excel is good stuff. I use it, I like it. Hootie
  7. Could someone direct me to a good spray solvent that I could use to clean the bearing attached to the spool shaft on my PQ. Thanks Hootie
  8. Me too, I like em all. Hootie
  9. So did I. I thought, hey, aren't we going backwards. LOL Hootie
  10. I use Vicious Ultimate, a copolymer, and I like it just fine. Bought a bunch of it when BPS had it on clearance last year. By the way, when BPS quit selling it, I sent an Email to Vicious requesting a catalog, and a list of stores in my area that still had it. They not only sent me a catalog, but also a hat, 2 bulk spools of line, and some decals. Ironically, the #test was exactly what I use, 14#, and 8#. Ya just never know! What a freebie!!! Hootie
  11. That's it SS, variety. Some of us like things constantly changing, some like changes in certain things, and some can't accept changes of any kind. But that's okay, I remember a line from an old rock song back in the70's that says, '' now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same''. Hootie
  12. Because they sell. It's all about the money. Hootie
  13. Anytime we have a post asking, what is your favorite, (fill in the blank), I find my answer has changed. Example, if you had asked me 2 months ago what is your favorite baitcaster, I would have said Lews, I have 6 of em. Ask me the same question today, and I would say my new Chronarchs, 2, 200E's, and 1, 50E. Do I think they are better than my Lews? Of course not. They are simply the newest ones. The last ones I have purchased of nearly anything, reel, rod, lure, whatever, tends to be my favorite for a while....till the next new thing comes along. I guess I am a confirmed tackle junkie. Anyone else like that? Hootie
  14. Upgrade maybe? Don't know for sure. Hootie
  15. Perfect, also Zoom super chunk jr., my favorite trailer. Another favorite Strike king rage chunk. Hootie
  16. Mike, when you get to be our age, ( I see I am a few years older than you) if you haven't learned that, life just gets to durned complicated. Hootie
  17. Hand sanitizer, and band•aids. Hootie
  18. Most excellent advice! Hootie
  19. I'm a Lews guy, and listening to LMG, convinced me to try Shimano. I now have 3 Chronarchs and love em. Still use my Lews also. I guess I just love bass fishing and quality equipment to fish with. Hootie
  20. Been using as a Chatterbait trailer with good results. Seems to attract bigger baits. Hootie
  21. I like the Zoom super chunk jr. Favorite color, black, blue flake. Hootie
  22. J Francho, Just been looking myself. It seems you are right. The manufacturers are making them available, just not putting them out there. I saw some 6ft Premiers, also some 6 ft falcons, and some 6 1/2 ft Lomis GL2's. Just not stocked in my local BPS. Guess I will just order online. Thanks a bunch. Hootie
