  1. Jared My advise would be to Check around your area for a local Bass club. If there aren't any close by, most times you can join any club without having to be present at thier monthly meetings. Almost all clubs would welcome new members. Good Luck Mike

  3. Brad... Sluggo's are a medium to soft plastic sitck bait. They are deadly when used as a "twitch" bait as opposed to the way a senko is usually used. Even tho they can be used weightless, Ive been useing these for years with a nail weight in the nose which will make that thing come alive plus it will add distance to your cast. With a minimum amount of salt, rigged on a jig head or t rigged, it will stand up straighter than your middle finger while it wave's and sways. The slits cut into the sides give it a shimmy when worked through the water column or on a straight retrieve like nothing else you can buy. Think of it as a long slender fluke with a tapered body from head to tail with a built in cut design that gives it it's unique action. Mike
  4. Other than what has been listed, imho #1 would be the Sluggo! I'd bet the majority of folks reading this are saying to themselves... "wait, what is that?? Mike
  5. Well for me I use a Lizard or Speed Worm for C rig. Never really had much success with a small craw type bait. For t rigging its either the Rage Craw, Rage Bug or Brush Hog. Punching Rage Bug or D Bomb Haven't thrown a Shakey head in years...When I did it was a trick worm. Mike

  8. Point taken John.. I guess I should have been clearer. My point was it can be used for any and all presentation's but certainly not ideal for all either.

  11. All lines have thier place..Braid is the only one you can use for all presentations. May not be the best to use in all, but certainly not the worst in any. Mike
  12. Ditto The flange on the Cut R makes that tail come alive. It has become my go to when the going gets tough. Rig it tail down for swimming and tail up for vertical presentations. Mike
  13. Bomber Long A... I have most of the others listed but almost always throw the Bomber first. Mike
  14. Sweet Beaver or D Bomb for punching Rage Bug, Rage Craw or Brush Hog for all else Mike

  18. 16# Sniper for the same price and diameter as 15# Invisex is the obvious choice. To me anyway Mike
  19. 14# and down I use Sniper 16# and up its Shooter Mike
  20. If I'm swimming a Monster, Anaconda or a Jelly Worm I peg a 1/8. If crawling or hopping I use an unpegged 3/16. (with a bead) Mike
  21. I tried them both and both did ok until I started useing thier Craw and Bug. Haven't used either since. Mike
  22. Brush Hog or a Rage Craw Mike
