I use one all the time down here and have a spare in my bag just in case... Mike

When I use a scrounger it's usually when I want a tight wild action with no flash, and that is usually when I'm having no luck with a spinnerbait. My trailer of choice is a chartreuse Sluggo. I have other colors but down here for me that long chartreuse tail just wiggling around has saved my day more than once. Mike

You've certainly done your home work and your thought process is right on. After being in 2 or 3 leagues every year, the one universal thing I learned is that sometimes we can over think this whole thing. For most of last year I was in 1st place but then got blown out after the 2nd playoff game. Point is sometimes a little tweaking, with good timing and a little luck along the way can make all the difference BTW, welcome to the league Mike

Hope you're right. I really didn't get a chance to study it too well as we hit the road again right after. It's those "questionable" guys that can make or break a team. But you never know. We'll see after the last 2 pre season games especially this weekend. Mike
