For what purpose will the rod be used,,in what conditions? The reason for asking St Croix bargain room still has LTBS69MLXF spinning rod for $161 Medium-Light XF 6-10# line 1/8-1/2oz lure I use a ML Avid and its a very nice power uses wacky senko, small cranks, 1/8 jig/craw, 1/8-1/4oz spinnerbaits. Most my time is spent open water just grass weeds to deal with no other structure. If this going to be your main rod for heavier presentations more cover then scratch the above.

I have a pair of Pitbulls they are now a year old and not a scratch one on them used everyday. The coverage is great all around the eye. They are a x-large frame which I need yet still a bit snug. The Unobtanium is awesome for no slippage when sweating. I use the Black Iridium Pol. but this lens has a reflective outer coating they get dark another plus for my eyes. I tried & tried numberous Costa's but they dont have much in big sizes I think the people at BPS & Gander got tired of me returning them. If my Pitbull frames had Costa lenses and Oakley darkness.Id be set.

No. It cant hurt my hook-up ratio though its rather poor too just not the time yet where Im at.

My favorite is St Croix Avid 8' Medium-Light Moderate spinning rod. The action, versatallity, sensitivity, feel-lightness ballance, its my most used rod. Like yours the range of fish, gills to cats it just works. I got it for my 10year wedding anniversary. I looked and looked for this particular model drove 70miles to a Gander Mnt and the moment I picked it up I was like yep this is it. Ive since got a Legend Elite but still this Avid is what I go to, want to be fishing with.

Well I didnt have much luck(line management) with straight 10# YZHUS on my SupremeXT's so basically just started using the struff for leader material with braid main-line. The 10# did suprize me though when my size 4 hook got snagged I pulled and pulled, line didnt give, but the hook bent and came loose. Ive never really used leader but this gives me some confidence in the line and my knot strength.

Ive been extremely pleased with my Smoke rod (casting 7'MF) It gives my Avid some competition sensitivity wise. Dont know about the balance of the spinning but mine even with the light JM Carbonlight reel balances well feels very nice in hand.

No issues with a JMCarbonlite on a Smoke7'MF. Their weight is like .260oz. It wouldnt hurt to practice more at least to help improve yourself unless your gear is totally out of range.

yep Well I took a look and one inner drag washer for Core is #3548 and the 50E is #3915. The key washer Core is #3941 the 50E #3213

I dont have any issues with 10#-15# braid on my baitcasters.

Secret Weapon Lures has worked well for me. With them can change swap blades/skirts no tools needed. They dont use swivels. Mine have a little piece of rubber for a "line keeper" so line wont work up wire. Not a big deal but nice little accompaniment. They use Mustad hooks. Got a 9.0 rating on another review site.

My 1st PP was the off-white color from around 10 years ago still have it on a set-up. I caught fish didnt think about the color being an issue. About the white color of line. I bought Nanofil, and on the same lake Ive been fishing PP the old white and Moss green, I had my best 1hr -1 1/2hr stretch ever. The white Nano sure didnt seem to hinder my catches.
