  4. You may think that but every year there are some over 15, a couple reaching the 17-18 and a known lake record of 19lbs 10 oz. Many locals down there wouldn't report anything. They just eat them. Also there have been bass netted while Tilapia fishing over 25lbs. Jeff
  5. Try the 00 Modbug! Very versitile! Can be had here... http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/storm-series Jeff
  6. Mark my words. The next world record will come from lake Baccarac in Mexico Jeff
  7. Pros- easy to wash out Cons- Boat rash on equipment, colors affect the "hotness" of it, any fish that flop have a better chance of hurting slim coat.
  8. Minimum of 4 and a max of about 10. If I can't figure out what is going on by about 8, my butt should be off the water anyways! Jeff
  9. So basically give Dwight 7 days and he will put you on a lunker or two......noted Jeff
  10. Outstanding results. But the real question is how many smallies did you catch to get those 5's and 6's? Jeff
  11. What time of the year is optimal? Might need to plan this one out. Jeff

  16. Ounce for ounce they fight just as hard. UL setup with 4 lb test and have fun. Jeff
  17. Size 6 or 8 long shank hooks. I use a float if the bottom is not clean. If it is I use a split shot rig. Never used fake crickets. Jeff
  18. I don't think of them as enemies, but as food! My bait of choice is a cricket and my lure of choice is a roadrunner. Jeff
  19. Can anyone give me a definitive place or suggestion for TROPHY brown trout fishing. I want a 10+lb brown. Thinking this is next on my bucket list! Jeff
  20. 00 modbug jig Jeff
  21. As you can see the water is WAYYYYYY down. We are gonna wait for the snow to melt and fill us back up! On a side note, if you look closely in the last picture, off the point at about the 10 o'clock position, you can see another one of my attractors I had put out last time. I caught this guy off it using one of my swim jigs while we were there... Camera phone pics suck.... And then not to much longer on my same swim jig I got this one... Both fish kind of skinny for this time of year. Guess we need the river flooding us and restocking the lake more than I thought. Jeff
  22. And here are a couple of them put out. Did not take pics of all of them.... Right off a main lake point...... Also dug up some old Metal pipes and put them up.... Added some wood to this one as well...
  23. Very nice. I love brown trout fishing. Won't get to go back until the first of Feb though. Jeff
  24. Smallie all the way. Jeff
