Like I said I am leaning towards Abu unless I am somhow amazingly convinced that daiwa or shimano is better or is way lighter or somthing im probably gonna ask for a Premier

Well learning from you and the other educated people on this forum I would say just someone else said that all your gonna get is opinions Go store fish these reels and see which one fits your hands the best. You can't go wrong with any of these reels I would go with a Curado if you need more money but if you can go with the XT, Premier, or Zillion.

Scorcher I KNEW if you posted on this thread you would say that lol. If i get a daiwa it will probably be a Advantage or Agrest but im leaning towards Abu right now.

Haha here's how we'll settle it. You. Me. Dallas Cowboys stadium. Two Wii's. Two Rapala Fishing games. Two 60 yd. tv's. 100,000+ Bass resource members cheering us on. Dallas Cheerleaders cheering us on ( Can't forget them 8-) ). The rules? First Angler to catch and cull 50 lbs of fish. Or we could flood the stadium, stock it with fish, put two bass boats in it and fish for real ! 8-) It would be like arena tournament fishing. Which isn't really a bad idea. That would make money IMO 8-) HAHAHA this is a great idea!!!! lol Ok I played Americas Army and used Ventrilo or TeamSpeak but my lil bro made me so mad I shot him with a shot gun. So I cant play "shooting games" :( Trust me I could OWN!!!! You in Combat Arms or Americas Army (the best 3 free games in the world) And I dont want to buy games I will go buy some fishing stuff instead. lol

WOW 6 PAGES!!! Ok I see that the contest is very close I fished with a Used curado once and I dont remember it being super smooth. Drag really isnt a big deal to me. My dads SX is really smooth, These reels sound very alike some people will swear theres has magic powers and some ask why theres dont so... It is gonna come down to stuff as small as looks.

Ok I wanna try punching, Ima buy Paycheck Skirts and Hooks some BPS Bobber Stoppers, some random 1 1/2 ounce weight and some Braid. I will be doing this with a Abu Garcia Silver Max on a Abu Medium Heavy 7 ft rod untill I get into more then I will upgrade my rod. Ok my dad says that what I do is drop my bait straight down but I saw Bub Tosh (pro puncher) pitching it out there and bring it back. I know you put your bait in the water bounce it on and off the bottom reel in and repeat. How thick is to thick cause Bub Tosh was punching through stuff as thick as your back yard when it hasnt been mowed for 3 weeks or more. I just want to try this technique and dont know what to do.

I have noticed that when im fishing I dont really notice my reel its more about the rod. Im gonna get one of these reels or a Caenan or BPS CL or PQ and just get more of those

Well To get a rod under 6 Ft is like a Custom kob nowadays lol, I wouldn't worry about that. I have a Shimano Bantam Curado I think it is a B5 200 or something and it still works GREAT very smooth. I would hang on to it for no other reason than a Collector if you don't want to use it.

Skip Abu Garcia and Shimano and go straight to Quantum Naw, I might go buy a Kinetic or Accurist if I want something cheap, this post was not a comparison thread I was just wondering why nobody talked about these brands. Ok I have seen ALOT of talk about daiwa and I have seen that I like the way Feugos look, how much are these reels and what Daiwa reel is comparable to a Revo or Curado?

I am planning on buying both a Revo and a Curado, im just trying to figure out which one to buy (when I say buy I mean ask my dad and him pay for it for my B-Day lol) first. The Curado is better for light baits and I have heard nothing but good on this thread, what are the Cons?

I dont really know when a rod breaks but my friends has suposably( dont tell me I spelled it wrong cause I DONT CARE) snapped 2 or 3, carrot stix, skeet reese rod, some falcon rod, and more I dont remember but when he sets I think he is trying to bring the fish out of the water and into the boat from 30 ft away O and he is using like 12 pound test. (I dont think he is snapping if he is it is in a tailgate or a door) but if you snap a rod your probably doing somthing wrong
