The Cumara Reaction series start at 200 bucks. Thats not what he's really looking for from what I understand. The regular Cumaras are 219+. If you shop around, I'm sure you can find them at better prices though. The same holds true for anything mentioned in this thread. What is a Reaction I have ment to ask someone already but never think about it

Cumaras are only $200 but if you want a Curado go with the Crucial

Ok So im guessing your price is like under $300 cause you said that was "accepible" Get a Shimano Cumara super lite and sesitive liftime warranty and the Shimano name pair that with a Citica or Carbon lite and you will have a GREAT combo I told you the Cumara cause you need to spend more on your rod. But if you can get a Curado you can find em used for about $140 or $150 any of those combos will never let you down

Do you hold your reels With 2 fingers in front of the trigger and 2 in the back or 3 in front and 1 in back?

I agree but to suggest you a rod we need to know what the most you can spend is.

A short rod will more than likely be stiffer so I would use it for closequaters pitching or fishing in cypress trees (I didnt read the whole post so Im not copying if this has already been said)

Ill keep it under $200 Really rods are all personal choice I would look at the Falcon Bucoo, BPS Carbonlite, Abu Vendetta, Abu Veritas, Shimano Compre, Skeet Reese and St. Croix Bass Mojo Reels I would look at the Pro Qualifiers, Carbon lites(you can get the combos for under $200), Citica, Caenan, Orra SX, and an Accurist. I hope this helped everything I just told you I have learned about from the experienced people on this forum

Ok I would buy something Shimano but $50 really isnt alot to buy anything quality. For that range stuff isnt built well that is another reason I would go with a trusted brand like Shimano cause Shakesphear make the cheap Pfleuger reels and Zebco makes the cheap quantum reels

Lake Fork Live Magic Shad looks amazing in the water just go buy a pack but if you want them to pull right get a weighted swimbait hook cause they sink super slow and the weight keeps the bait level in the water go try em out

Ok I used this lure yesturday didnt fish with it much but didnt catch anything so its not like it increases your chances alot. But in the directions it says put in tackle box alone do not let it touch other hooks. So I did I DIDNT THINK ABOUT MY DANG HOOK KEEPER!!! Now it is dead I do like the way it looks and its action but its not worth it and if you buy one do not put it on your hook keeper will drain the unreplaceable battery

I ust to fish that place alot I am in the local tournament team Golija maybe you have heard of it but anyways here is what you need to use: 1. ZOOM Black Trick Worms 2. Lake Fork Live Magic Shad White 3. ZOOM Curly Tail Tequlia Sunrise you can fish these baits wheightless or weighted just throw it out there and fish it on the bottom. I am normally fishing Huthinson mill pond (membership only $400 a year) but fish banks sometime maybe we will see each other hope this helped Next time I go I will be fishing frogs I think you should try em out but there is world record bass in Banks according to a test that was done (the shocked em and weighed em) But fishing is not great but its good when you know what your doing.
