Sunline Super Natural
Strength is not an issue. Really good mono for treble hooks. Much smaller diameters than Sufix. Much smaller than any other mono period. Pretty much on par with what you expect from high quality FC's in size to strength ratio.

Fav Brand Of Fc
If it didn't, I'm not sure I'd so easily shuck out $38.

Fav Brand Of Fc
I was actually attempting to be sarcastic. Shooter is #2 in my book. You're right, it's a steep price but, the longevity makes up for it. I've had the same Toray on one of my jig rods since late summer last year. A friend told me he had some last over two years. I was very skeptical about it lasting that long...starting to believe now. Don't get a bird's nest, it'll cost ya.

Fav Brand Of Fc
I think I know the answer to this one... Shooter is the bestest line on Earth!

Fav Brand Of Fc
I've been using Tatsu, Solaroam SH Upgrade, and Shooter side by side for close to a year now and I have them in this order... #1 Toray #2 Shooter #3 Tatsu All are amazing lines and I'd be just fine if I had to use any one of them exclusively. However, I'd prefer Toray (BC only, FC's and spinning gear aren't my thing) over any other. A Uni or snell knot is insanely strong with it. The abrasion resistance is the best I've ever seen. Low stretch. It's all I can ask for in a FC line. Shooter is alright. The biggest problem I have with it is that I can't find a standout "best" knot with it. No matter what knot I tie with it, every five or six knots I tie PAP! one will break with not a ton of pressure. I had a hell of a time breaking off a hung up jig the other day but, still have that occasional weak knot. If I were to use one on spinning gear it would be Tatsu. I think it handles the best of the three but, along with the good handling comes a little more stretch and a slightly weaker line. You may have a completely different outlook on them as I do. I kept buying different FC's because so and so said it was the best with no stretch, etc, etc. Then, I would try that line and find that it has more stretch than silly putty. So, I bought all of them. Fished all of them. Now, I know which one to buy.

Braiding A Baitcaster
It also cuts down on cost significantly.

Did I Hear Something About A Palomar Slipping With Pp Super Slick?
Don't like a Palomar with braid?...new one by me. That's all I've ever heard to use with braid. Well, I've never had one fail with any other braid so I guess I'll just go with it.

Did I Hear Something About A Palomar Slipping With Pp Super Slick?
Is a regular palomar fine or did I hear something about a double palomar? Maybe it was another line but I want to make sure.

Carbonlite Micro Guide Rods
John, I can't tell you how much money you've saved me this year, didn't even cross my mind. Thanks...again. So BPS is a little light on their ratings in the whole Carbonlite series or just that particular rod?

Stradic Supertuned???
I used to squirt oil in any opening I could find on my baitcasters and wondered why my drag and anti-reverse stopped working right LOL!

Stradic Supertuned???
Service by a pro is a must with all reels. Hooligan- Check your pm's

Carbonlite Micro Guide Rods
Was thinking about trying one, but it seems to be alot of bad reviews. Guides splitting and busting out on first hooksets??? Is it really a problem or just that group of guys that ride around with their rods in the bed of their pick-ups all week then fuss when the rods break? Which model would be best for LC Pointer 100's?

Seaguar Kanzen Braid
Uh oh! Someone that doesn't believe line visibility is a factor just made a Freudian Slip. LOL! Gotcha Dodge As far as Kanzen goes, if they somehow made a braid that Hooligan actually likes it must be something to it because I've never heard him say he likes a braid before.

Rago Mini Bv 3D/ Rago Robo Skt Inline?
Yes, exactly what I meant. Thanks both of you.

Rago Mini Bv 3D/ Rago Robo Skt Inline?
I'm about to buy these two baits (Rago Mini BV 3D and Rago Robo SKT Inline) and need to know if there is any additional tackle I need to uy with them. The larger original Rago 7" BV 3D says something about using an Owner Stinger Harness Rig. Do I need this for this bait also and what size 4 or 6? I know nothing about inline line through baits...

Anyone Using Seaguar Kanzen Braid?
Doesn't say anything in the product description about it being an eight strand. It's cheap $13.99 for 150yds. I like how smooth and quiet Samurai is, but that about sums it up for me.

Anyone Using Seaguar Kanzen Braid?
Those are some wicked small diameters. I've only come across one line with diameters that small and that was original PP. The PP 10lb. is bombproof, casts farther than anything I've ever seen, and doesn't give any problems with line twist...used on a spinning set-up for shakeyhead. Can Kanzen match it's strength?

Nanofil- What's The Skinny?
Thanks

Nanofil Underwater Visibility Test
Yeahup, looked like a science project with an objective. It made fluoro and braid look identical. do the same test in the lake with sunshine and no white pool wall as a background and it will be a different story. The problem with that test(real condition) is it's hard to see any of them Dodge- Not saying it matters all the time, all places, not even the majority, but I'll let you come fish my private, 12-acre trophy lake anytime you want and fishing the exact same lure and diameter line and I will catch 10 to your 1 on FC vs braid.

Nanofil- What's The Skinny?
So, how are you guys liking it? Is it stronger or weaker than advertised? Is there anything it offers that the other million lines out there don't?

Alabama Rig?
I'd use it in a tournament as long as it's legal.

Jigging Rod: Best Value Under $100
100% agreed. I bleed Shimano, but their lower end rods suck. I've never even considered buying one. Wouldn't even pick up a Shimano rod below the Crucial. The gap between the Crucial and the next lower rod is alot.

Best Dropshot Rod+Reel
That sucks you can't go Shimano because the 7'2" Cumara Medium Extra Fast is a killer drop-shot rod...and I'm about to put one on the flea market tonight or tomorrow that has been fished a whopping three times. Make sure you get a large enough diameter spooled reel to through some 8# FC....Shimano 2500 isn't big enough with most FC's except like Tatsu and other ridiculously priced lines.

Fuji Ecs Reel Seat Vs. All The Rest
I don't even have big hands or fingers and the ACS feels small and confined to me. Love the ECS.

Power Pro Super 8 Slick?
Haven't been using it long enough to give a real review or anything, but so far I'm liking it. They weren't kidding when they named it slick. It has a very slick feel to it. 40# is measuring out at .0125" 9 out 10 times. This PowerPro line doesn't have the extremely low diameter to strength ratio the old stuff does...right now it doesn't. What I mean by that is, I think as the coating wears off the diameter will get a little smaller, like the original PP. It's smooth and quiet, but I haven't got a good solid chunk hooked up way out there yet. The only fish I've caught on it have been right at the boat so I didn't get to crank on it hard. It does cast very well and I'm sure it will get much better as it breaks in. I'll give a more detailed opinion later after I've had time to really form one. So far, so good though.
