im new to baitcasters and i have a question. it seems when ever i use a plastic my line doesnt rap around the reel very tight, which makes the line easer to dig into the spool because baitcasting reels have a horizontal spool, this never happens when im using a rapala or a spinner because there is always resistance on the line when retrieving so it stays nice and tight. help!!!

im not saying that girls shouldnt fish or hunt, i think its really cool when they do but i think they use guys because guys were doing it before girls, and by majority more guys hunt than girls.

how much do they pay for one? i have a million!!!!

so just bought this blue fox minnow spinner with the color of the original rapala and a gold blade, fish catcher or not? i got a hit on it yesterday but nothing was working, not frogs, rapalas, or Mepps. What do you guys think? ;D

so i have a new baitcasting reel/rod and it says use lures 1/4 ounce to like an ounce so does that mean i cant fish senkos wieghtless? cause i really dont want to use my spinning gear which is mainly for trout. also ive heard of people using senkos under bobbers, have u heard of it? also TIPS TIPS TIPS! i havent used the senko much, im not very familiar with any soft plastic! help!

i have 12 lb test fluorocarbon with like a diameter of .29mm, should i put on a swivel and put on some lighter line so the bass wont see it, will it enhance the chances of a strike and make bass less aware?

so i just got Mepps Black Fury1/4 ounce (far left) Blue Fox 1/4 ounce (right of mepps) Roostertail 3/8 ounce(right of bluefox) Mepps Aglia #4 1/4 ounce(far right) these are some pretty popular lures. do you guys like these?

so i just looked at a black fury dressed with chartreuse and it rang a bell in my head! i remember this in my dads tackle box and i thought it looked great! so i put it on throw it next to a huge boulder while smallie fishing on a stream and boom!!! a huge smallmouth hit atleast 3 pounds and it took a wild leap and broke my line on the boulder! im now looking to buy a couple of these!

thank you. i have a TON of 1/8 ounce for my spinning reel. i only have one white 3/8 ounce roostertail for my baitcaster. looking to add ALOT more. Would i be able to get a Mepps Black Fury at my local sporting goods store?

yea i think they are wonderful and they seem to be overlooked! can i use a 1/8 ounce spinner on my baitcaster, it says 3/8 ounce and up, but i see people throwing soft plastic about that weight. why does it say not to? (new with baitcasters) ;D

when i started bass fishing i started using some of my bigger trout spinners and they really produce for me! i use roostertails and blue fox vibrax, also mepps. i always see fishermen on tv using offset spinners. i have a black booh-yah but havent used it much. what do you guys like or use?

thanks. im quite young, 14 actually and i really enjoy bass fishing. i mostly use spinners and rapalas tho and am trying to broaden my techniques. ive fished this a little but not enough to say anything about it. should i use a steady retrieve and a more twitchty type retrieve. ive done both. i know it depends on how the bass are that day and weather and other factors but what do you mostly do?

i dont know if these are still efective in the fall, but i have a "Pop'n Frog" anybody ever used it? also have zoom horny toads

i see but that doesnt answer my question. ive used them before but not as much as spinnerbaits. those are my main stuff

so i want to add some more rapalas to my tackle box. what rapalas work well? best go to rapala that almost always gets fish? not looking to spend more than 8$ a piece cause where i fish there is alot of snags and im not into spending 15$ bucks or more on something i have a high chance of losing.

oh my i know!!!! i bought some baby brush hogs and senkos to try and with the brush hogs i just never know when they are biting, my dad says they just inhale them and you really need to know how it feels.

i have a an offset spinner bait with a black skirt and head and silver blades? is that ok? thats my only offset. but i have a big 3/8 ounce white roostertail, white seems to never let me down.

yea i really wanna do some tournaments for my age cause i think im a lot more experience than the other kids. im 14

yea i know but i dont fish this local, i fish it in the mountain streams where only smallies and trout are so its fine for me!
